crossover_chickThough I did write up a Drabbles88 (you may all faint now) for the prompt New Year -- you'll probably see that on Friday.
As the subject line indicates, though, I haven't had much of a "thinking" day. I suppose I could share what's been on my mind lately. Thanks to WickedLove making a new CB video with songs from "Repo! The Genetic Opera," I've been introduced to the song "Zydrate Anatomy." I've done some research on the rock opera itself -- it looks like the kind of gore/titillation fest I wouldn't be interested in actually watching, and the Agony Booth slaughtered it (very amusingly, there's even a BTTF ref!), but -- damn it, I like the song! Perhaps not so much the lyrics as the beat behind it. It's catchy.
However, you know how my brain likes to throw me curveballs? Like the whole Corpse Bride/Dr. Horrible thing? Yeah, guess what it's been amusing me with today.

It's a great movie too. I HATE gory movies. I REALLY do. And those parts did freak me out, but otherwise I love it.

Date: 2009-12-30 04:06 am (UTC)I don't think I could watch the movie itself because of the gore factor (seeing the still images of some of it on the Agony Booth was squicktastic enough), but I might poke around and check out some of the other songs. I'm pretty sure they're all on YouTube.
