LJ Has Grown Leaves

crossover_chickThis new theme come as a surprise to anyone else? It's not bad, it's just a bit of a shock. Has LJ gone green or something? (I'll admit to not paying much attention anymore to the news posts and such.)
In other news, I apparently have a weakness for crossover couples. Emily/Hatter and Victoria/White Knight have both had surprisingly touching moments in this fight scene. Emily and Victoria also both got moments of badassery -- Emily did the whole "taking the sword" thing for an injured Hatter, while Victoria clonked a Bishop over the head with a fire poker. :D Then, of course, I threw a Jabberspawn and a Boojum at them. Sorry, girls, it's in service to the plot! And I'm going to be much crueler to Victor shortly. . . .
My brain's still on the Wonderland channel, as you've probably guessed. I just beat the game again today. I took advantage of a little trick you can do in the first Queen battle -- if you charge up the secondary attack on the Jabberwock Eye Staff before moving forward and triggering the cutscene, you can injure the puppet Queen in the cutscene and cut down on her attacking time. Fun and useful!
Also, I've been having a lot of thoughts considering the "Anna Lived" miniverse -- specifically that Victor's first trip to Wonderland. Starting to wonder if I should try and figure out how to make it an actual story. The reason I'm balking is I have no idea how to handle Victorian college. Hmmm.
Note to self, think up a goddamn question for Victor. You're having crossover thoughts, let the other half out. Also, do more "P&P&Z" in the Inkwell or something. (At least Simon's birthday/April Fools is coming up. I have an idea for a minievent. . . .)
