I can't say much more, since my brain's a little burnt out. Had a rough start to the day, though it got a lot better in the afternoon. Especially since it appears that we are indeed getting a new BTTF videogame! TellTale Games have the license! I for one am quite hopeful -- apparently these guys did a Wallace and Gromit episodic game, so they have a good background as far as I'm concerned.

As for birthday celebrations, the Inkwell party is going strong, the muses have their usual birthday wishes up, and Victor Plush twittered on his small celebration. And yes, I got myself a chocolate Birthday Cake Friend-z in honor of the occasion. (After the way the day started, I felt I deserved it.) I also watched both "Back To The Future Night" and the featurettes on Corpse Bride while I walked on the treadmill, so that's set.

. . . I should post some fanfic or something too. Well, I do have some more sentences -- I did two sets from one of the spinoff communities of [livejournal.com profile] 1sentence, one that dealt in threesomes. Have the Doc/Marty/Victor Friendship sentences:

Doc/Marty/Victor (friendship):
Theme Set Three
1. Witch – Sometimes it seems to Marty and Victor that Doc’s inventions are more like magic.

2. Hunt – After finding out what would happen to Doc in 1885, Marty and Victor decided they would hunt him down and get him back home – no matter what.

3. Trial – It felt at times like this whole big mess with time travel was some sort of trial for them, to see if their friendship would survive.

4. Judge – They’ve all been judged unfairly in their lives – Doc for his eccentricities, Victor for his family fortune, Marty for his father’s reputation – which means they all understand each other better than almost anyone else.

5. Jury – Victor has always felt like people are examining him and finding him wanting – that is, until he meets Doc and Marty.

6. Victory – They’re back home, they’re together again, and best of all, they all have girlfriends!

7. March – Walking those six miles alongside the railroad tracks was brutal, but if it was the price they had to pay to find Doc – well, so be it.

8. Madness – Seeing Doc in that straitjacket in the newspaper picture makes Marty’s insides twist unpleasantly and Victor look like he wants to throw up.

9. Comic – Victor had never expected the 65-year-old to be the fellow comic geek of his in their little group.

10. Book – Victor hadn’t been in favor of buying the almanac either; Marty really wished he’d listened to him or Doc.

11. Humor – One of the main reasons they’re all friends is because they can all make each other laugh.

12. Tragedy – The alternate 1985, where they’d never met, was the ultimate tragedy to Victor.

13. Romance – Doc and Victor would never admit it out loud, but they rather envied Marty for having a steady girlfriend.

14. Fantasy – From the outside, a friendship consisting of one brash teenager, one shy young adult, and one semi-crazy old man looked like it would never work – but somehow, it did.

15. Horror – They share a passion for horror movies, though the specifics always differs – Victor likes vampires, Marty werewolves, and Doc mad scientists.

16. Torture – It didn’t matter what you did to any of them – hit them, scream at them, rip them apart – they were loyal to each other, and that was that.

17. Porn – Finding Doc’s stash of “Playboys” was the most interesting day yet of Marty and Victor’s lives.

18. Pleasure – There were few things any of them found more enjoyable than just hanging around the garage for an afternoon together, shooting the breeze while Doc worked.

19. Pain – Having to watch their best friend get shot – that just rips Marty and Victor up inside.

20. Hurt – Victor’s clumsiness soon meant that Marty and Doc could practically teach a course in basic first aid for cuts and bruises.

21. Comfort – Doc would do near anything for them – they’re practically the sons he never had.

22. Kiss – Victor, amazingly, actually tells Doc off for interrupting Marty’s kiss with Jennifer once the teen’s off on his mission.

23. Caress – Who cares if it makes them look a bit unmanly – they all like giving each other the occasional hug.

24. Sensual – Although they’re all very different, they have one major thing in common – they all love good music.

25. Blindfold – Victor was starting to think that Doc was being deliberately obtuse about how to solve the problem with Clara – he had to know this was a different situation from the Sports Almanac, didn’t he?

26. Chocolate – They all have sweet tooths, so when it comes to the last piece of candy, they can be downright vicious with each other.

27. Covered – No matter what, they always have each other’s backs.

28. Strawberry – Marty claims Victor’s head looks like a strawberry whenever he blushes – Doc tells the kid off, but secretly can’t help agreeing a little.

29. Tea – Victor gets annoyed when Marty claims he has to love tea simply because he’s English.

30. Coffee – Doc, luckily, points out that Marty doesn’t love coffee just because he’s American.

31. Bite – Ripping into a hamburger at Burger King with his two best friends was one of the best ways to spend lunch, Marty decided.

32. Lick – Victor and Marty always enjoyed coming over Doc’s house because they were almost always guaranteed an enthusiastic, somewhat slobbery greeting from Einstein.

33. Tousle – The one really annoying thing about being shorter than your best friends was that it seemed to mean they could never resist mussing up your hair.

34. TickleSometimes, it’s not good to be the most ticklish one in the group, Victor thinks as he fends off his best friends.

35. Monster – They don’t care that some of the people in town say Doc’s a monster – he’s their friend, and that’s all that matters.

36. Sex – When they saw Doc strolling back into town with that overly cheerful expression, both Marty and Victor briefly wondered if – then promptly decided they really didn’t want to know.

37. Video – Watching a video with his friends was one of Victor’s favorite activities – as long as Doc and Marty didn’t hog the popcorn.

38. Games – Marty really liked it when he could convince Doc and Victor to hang out with him at the arcade for a while – playing “Wild Gunman” was no fun without someone to show off to.

39. Carnival – Seeing Marty confuse the hell out of the gun salesman with his “Wild Gunman”-inspired shooting was the best part of the festival to Victor (though he’s glad Doc didn’t see it – that would have earned them a lecture).

40. Clown – Sometimes they laugh at each other and their various foibles, but hey – that’s what male friendship is all about, isn’t it?

41. Broken – Neither Marty nor Victor worried when something of theirs broke – they knew that Doc would find a way to fix it, no matter what.

42. Heart – Doc felt like his heart was being torn in half – he couldn’t bear the thought of leaving Clara, but how in the name of Sir Isaac H. Newton could he abandon his two best friends?

43. Fixed – Doc really hoped he could fix this situation – he didn’t mind living in the past so much, but he could definitely see that Victor and Marty wanted to go home.

44. Mantle – Victor supposed he should help Marty in telling Doc their problem, but he got distracted by looking at the pictures on Doc’s mantle – when had their friend owned a picture of Isaac Newton?

45. Piece – Marty feels like a puzzle with a couple of pieces missing whenever he’s separated from them for too long.

46. Wind – Marty wishes it wasn’t so windy as he and Victor desperately call up their warning to the younger Doc – maybe then he’d be able to hear them!

47. Rain – Lugging an unconscious Doc up to the mansion while the rain poured down on them was not Marty and Victor’s idea of a good time.

48. Mud – Victor was always the one who would fall into a mud puddle, or trip over his own feet – he’s honestly surprised when it’s Marty who steps in the horse manure.

49. Lightning – The lightning hit the top of the clock tower, and Marty and Victor both squeezed their eyes shut, praying Doc would connect the wires in time.

50. Sore – If there was one part of the Wild West they could all agree on, it was that riding a horse really made your butt hurt.

What Victor's going on about in "Mantle" is the fact that Doc's picture of Isaac Newton on his mantle in 1955 is the only picture that doesn't show up in his garage in 1985. As for "Victory," I haven't worked out all the details yet, but Victor does end up with someone in that. I'm just wondering if I should stick to canonical girlfriends, or go with my preferred pairing. ;)

Okay, I gotta go veg out. Later!
