Victor slaying the Jabberwock with the Vorpal Sword.
More specifically, a Corpse Bride/American McGee's Alice crossover that adapts the plot of the Tim Burton Alice In Wonderland movie. (The reason Alice can't slay the Jabberwock herself is that she can't rid herself of all of the guilt over her parents' death, and he keep using that to come back to life. This naturally pisses her off.)
While I'm here, a bit of Fridge Brilliance about the movie that hit me at work today: It's been bugging me slightly lately that TB's Alice had Wonderlanders being such sticklers about prophecy and following the destined path. They're WONDERLANDERS, they're all mad -- why should they care?
Then today it hits me as I'm vaguely plotting the above: Looking-Glass Land creatures can remember things backwards AND FORWARDS. And since TB's film draws very heavily on "Through The Looking Glass. . . ." Suddenly, things make a lot more sense. (Which might not be the point with Wonderland, but -- you know.)
