Not much happened today -- did some philosophy homework, worked on a story, had Subway for lunch, walked on the treadmill. . . . So why don't I tell you about the guy I mentioned the other day, Emmett Victor Liddell?

Here's the special bio pic I whipped up in paint. As mentioned, he's my Strangetown Sim of the moment, attending college in La Fiesta Tech. He's about halfway through second semester Freshman at the moment.

His first semester was spent at the Oasis Dorm. It's basically the same dorm Emmett Brown in [livejournal.com profile] ink_sec_sims lived in until recently, so I didn't bother taking many pictures on the premises. Not a lot happened besides him doing schoolwork and making a semi-friend in Sadie here.

Oh, and the local cheerleader and cow mascot kicking the crap out of each other this one time.

Emmett Victor Liddell, however, has a hidden talent -- treasure hunting. His first time with the shovel, he dug up the Twikki Island hidden lot map. The second time, he produced this treasure chest. That's $5000 right there! He also found a decent statuette, along with the usual rocks and bones. $5000, plus the money gained by deleting the sprinkler and fire place from this dorm's common room (I was NOT going through a repeat of what happened in Emmett's), and that from selling paintings created by his oddly-artistic dormmates, meant that after he took his first semester final, he could move out!

This is his new European Townhouse, right down the street. The desk Mr. Humble's computer is sitting on is in fact pilfered from one of his old dormmates -- what, wasn't like that guy was using it. (He also took a dresser, but there was no room for it so I sold it for cash.) This is also when his grade meter glitched. Research showed it was more of a graphical glitch than anything, though -- I visited a downtown lot, and that reset it so I could see he was indeed making proper progress.

His first day there, he took a trip to the Wasteland Lounge (I thought this would reset his grade bubble, but no dice). Of course, the bubble maker called his name. . . .

After making hot dogs for everybody, he got the "go to class" notice -- I went ahead and let him leave, figuring it wouldn't hurt. And when he got back, Felicia Zaidi the Infallibly Good Witch was waiting for him.

ImageFra.me
Even better? She's a redhead, so he thinks she's hot. I believe I have found him his wife! :D

They hung out for a while -- conversation stuttered slightly at the start, but then she mentioned money and everything went smoothly.

And then I have a second Head Witch for no apparent reason. I don't know if this is a sign of dangerous instability already or what, but you know what? Better EVL and Strangetown than Inkwell Secundus, Twin Oaks Park, or Eureka. At least EVL is more of a "just for fun" Sim.

After heading back home, skilling, and attending class again, I went ahead and sent him downtown to Maple Springs Pool & Spa. After seeing his grade bubble had fixed itself (while he was down there, anyway), I had him swim and fulfilled his want to play chess. His companion there is Contessa Edith, one of the vampires. Hmmm. . .maybe I should make this "legacy" of mine all about different life states. EVL is gonna be a witch of course, especially if I can woo Felicia, but maybe his kid could be a vampire? *think think*

That's all for him for now -- I'll probably update on his antics again later.
-VDM: *jokingly* Getting him his own journal?-
No no, I'm having enough trouble keeping up with the three I've got!
