Weird Dreams And Sims Stuff
Apr. 3rd, 2011 10:06 pmI actually had a couple of dreams this morning that I remember, so here's a brief look into my subconscious:
-->Dream #1 involved me and a team of people playing against another team of people in -- I'm not sure how to describe it. There was this soft, sock-like ball, and you had to get it to the other side of a big square to score points, only you had to crawl on your belly to move and you had to somehow dribble the ball. . . . Anyway, I was playing this game, but the rest of my team was sick and therefore sitting on their asses while I scored points.
And then Linkara showed up and helped me. Easy to see who I've had on the brain lately. . . . Afterward, we talked about the Linkara persona versus Lewis Lovhaug (that's his real name). I also woke up from this dream feeling really hot all of a sudden -- from playing the game? ;p
--Dream #2 was a Sims-related dream. I designed this community lot with an electronics store and another sort of store (can't remember what it was, but it looked like a castle and I think a pond was involved somewhere), and then Victor Van Dort came in to run the electronics store.
-TTV: ????-
You did really good, though! Made lots of sales, handled the cash register well. . .there seemed to be a restocking glitch, however, because shit wouldn't restock. That's when I woke up, though. I know what triggered that one -- I'd read some of the "Open For Business" Prima Guide before bed.
-D: You really like that aspect of the game, don't you?-
Yeah -- it's kinda neat, running stores. The whole reason I'm doing the EVL thing in Strangetown is to expand my horizons in that.
Hey, speaking of EVL, he's just completed his Sophomore year! Want to see what he's been up to?

We start off with Emmett Victor Liddell getting Ventrilofarted by the cow. Even though they're the only two people in the house.

Oh, suck it up, EVL. *facepalm*

I sent him to the (very pink) LFT Student Union to meet some people and pass the time. He seems very proud of the fact that he has a witch for a girlfriend. :)

He's mainly been working hard at the robot bench -- don't you love the steampunk versions of the Hydrobot and Cleanbot? As they indicate, he's up to a Bronze in Robotery.

Occasionally, he'll write about garden gnomes in his diary.

Or blog about trains for Tinkering enthusiasm.

Or get visited by streakers with shit-eating grins as he tries to work. XD

His treasure-hunting attempts have finally gone bad, though -- I had to fill in the hole when he at last struck a water main in his digging.

The big event of his Sophomore year, however, happened just eleven hours before his final. He invited Felicia down to the Lost In Love Hedge Maze for another date -- both so I could check his grade meter (still glitched!) and get some serious socializing done with her.

Uh-huh. I admit I'm a threesome shipper in some fandoms, but I'd prefer you two to just stick to each other for the moment.

It doesn't take Felicia long to fall in love with EVL. . . .

. . .but EVL requires extra encouragement to fall in love with Felicia. And this with his lifetime meter well in the 90s. He worries me sometimes.

Felicia regrets casting the Beautificus Locus. Everyone, including her date, is now obsessed with the butterflies.

Again with the kicky ball. What's with their love of it?

As the date gets into Dream Date status, EVL invites his lady love back to his place.

Where he proceeds to ignore her in favor of an assignment so he can get his customary A+ for the semester. (One of these days, I have to let a Sim fail or something.)

And then, my main reason for inviting her home is revealed!

In a burst of sparkles, EVL becomes. . . .

EMMETT VICTOR LIDDELL, TECHNO-WARLOCK!
. . .Eh, I think EMMETT BROWN, TECHNO-WARLOCK does the all-caps better.

He is very very grateful.

His warlock stuff goes into a special room I built just for that purpose. Maybe it doesn't look particularly magical, but it'll do.

The date ends as a Dream Date, and it takes me a try or two to actually get Felicia to leave. XD (Incidentally, her wants, as checked during the date, are all about marrying EVL. Aw.)

EVL spends the (snowy) hours before his final getting reagents prepared for his first spell.

Then, once he gets back from his final (A+ again), he tries Benemoodus Simae. Unfortunately, it fizzles.

REALLY unfortunately. I'm sorry, bud! I didn't realize your bladder was that low! (And he's a neat Sim, so this will probably really bug him.)

But on the plus side, Felicia expressed her gratitude for two dream dates in a row by leaving him a karaoke machine. I promptly sold it for cash and may be expanding his house a bit more later.
So yeah, productive Sophomore year for him. Let's hope he can keep it up. And avoid any more accidents.
Anyway, I'm off to do some writing. Gotta get a little done every day -- shoot, I was gonna post a 25 Foods today. Tomorrow, this post is long enough I'm sure. It's a funny one, though -- look forward to it. :D
