It intrigued me (well, mostly the last question) so here we go:

The (Other) Friday Five

Mawwage

1. What are your overall views on marriage? I'm in favor of it for the right reasons (aka, the people involved are genuinely in love and have the same views on it and suchlike). I know it's definitely not for everyone. I'm all for marriage for anyone who wants it, though. And I'll admit to enjoying planning the occasional wedding for my characters in fanfic/RP (Victor & Alice being major players here).

2. Are you married// is marriage something you want? Probably never going to get married, since I really prefer being alone to being around people.

3. Do you like the symbolism of wedding rings? Why or why not? I honestly don't think about it much, but I suppose it's nice enough. Interesting note, though -- my research on Victorian weddings has revealed that only the wife got a ring. Hence why only the female characters in Corpse Bride wear wedding bands (and sometimes not even then, if you look carefully at Nell and Maudeline's hands).

4. What do you think is the best age, ideally, to get married? (In general.) Cripes, damned if I know. If you want biological kids, probably the best time is mid-to-late 20s, early 30s. But honestly, this all depends on when you meet "the one."

5. Which is worse: shotgun wedding at 17, or meeting your partner when you're in your sixties? . . .Okay, this is what I see when I picture this question:

. . .Yeah, I'm gonna go with the shotgun wedding.

I should have a drabbles88 for you all tonight as well -- and don't worry, Moose, it's primarily Episode 3-based, so it should be safe for reading.
