Getting Settled Back In

crossover_chickA:MR is still playing okay, though admittedly I'm playing in shorter bursts than before. *shrug* I've also got all the graphics options turned down from the start, which should help. I've just reached Crockery (that's where you first meet the MadCaps). Already I think I'm ahead on bottles from where I was before. :) Remind me to search out a guide later.
-D: *slightly puzzled* Aren't you going to try to restore your old save game file?-
It's still on my mind -- but honestly, it's not a huge priority. I know the ins and outs of the game now, and I actually WAS planning on making a second profile at some point to play the game "clean" again. . . I might just stick with the new save game. It's not like losing a save in Sims. (I still gotta start filling up the Downloads folder there. Gah, all those ZIP and RAR files. . . .)
Anyway, not much else happening at the moment. Getting settled back into having the laptop, getting everything working as it should. Got everything updated that I wanted to get updated, so that's good. Posted a couple of favorite LOLs over at my tumblr, if anyone's interested.
