The Pony Meme is back at memebells, and this time I've put in 8butterflyboy8: Here's his thread.

Yeah, I found a nicer hairstyle, and a tail I liked more. I actually redid my Alice pony while I was on there, and did a London version -- here, let me show you the pics:


Alice Pony, take 2 -- I made her coat lighter, gave her a different tail, eliminated the visible hooves, put her boots on her back legs only, and traded the outfit for a simple cape. I dunno if making her lighter was right, but I rather like the other changes.


London Alice! I made her an extremely light blue (didn't want to make her completely white), and gave her a shorter mane and different shoes. She's not supposed to be a "blank flank" (I don't have a picture of the Vorpal Blade on its own), but I'm wondering if it's actually appropriate. After all, physically Alice has spent 10 years in an asylum -- all her special talents are inside her head. Maybe she'd manifest the Vorpal Blade cutie mark in reality when she takes care of Bumby. Oh, and I thought up a lame pun name for her -- Alice Saddell/Saddle.


Victor Pony #2 -- as you can see, changed hairstyle, tail, and wings. Otherwise he remained largely the same.


But I did make a smiling version of him, for when he's flying. :p The slightly-different eyes were an accident, but I figured they represent his happiness quite well, so why not? Still haven't come up with a cutie mark for him -- and now I'm wondering if it would be different between my Victors. I mean, I was going for a musical cutie mark for Victor, since arguably his piano skills are the most important to Corpse Bride's plot, but Butterfly Boy's more entomology-based. . . .


All right, time to waste more time with pony episodes, now that I've found a reliable source of them. (And do tags on LJ -- tumblr is curiously quiet tonight. O.o)

I don't watch the show either unless it's on after Fraggle Rock on the Hub channel and I don't change to something else.

Ooh! This so interesting! I really like the idea of Victor and Alice being in MLP: Friendship is Magic (I love that show!). :)
Maybe his cutie mark could be a butterfly sketched similarly to the one he drew at the beginning of the movie or a music note. When I first heard of you doing this, I couldn't stop singing the theme song in my head with the words changed around. XD

LOL, thanks -- that's the first thing that happens whenever I get a new fandom to think about, how to cross it over with the old. Though Alice Pony has been done by others on devART, I know -- I've seen pictures of Pinkie as her in various forms.

A butterfly made of music notes? Argh, why must this be more complicated than it first appears. . .
