Because I'm apparently obsessed with him and his live-in girlfriend. Still, worse things to be obsessed over, right?
Friday

We open on this scene of domestic tranquility. Aww.

And then the stove catches on fire after they burn one too many cheese-covered plates in it. (Seriously -- other dishes they'll wash, but the cheese platter plates end up in the stove, since this custom dealy apparently doubles as a garbage disposal.) And I realize a) I have no fire alarm and b) neither of them can cast Exflammo thanks to lack of ingredients. Fuck.

Mundane extinguishers to the rescue!

God, is it out already? FINALLY. Yikes.

Red hands make everything better!

EVL heads to work, where he will lose a Body point on a chance card and thus be denied a promotion. Damn it.

Felicia gets herself cleaned up, then channels her pain into art. More specifically, I make her paint to get her to max her Creativity and get her out of red Aspiration -- seeing a fire was a big fear for her.

After all that, she does deserve to chow down on a cool banana split.

She also needs to get reagent-making, as, even with a fire alarm, I'm not getting caught flatfooted like that again.

EVL comes home and starts jumproping to make up the Body point he lost. Thanks to the awesomeness of the Eureka! Aspiration Benefit, he ends up getting two. Yay!

Felicia anticipates the coming of a Benemoodus Simae she desperately needs.

Dangers of Magivestium! Notice something missing from our little witch? I wouldn't mind so much -- I can live without the glowing aura -- except that I realize this means she can't make the awesome "fulfill all needs" chair. Damn it.

Nothing to do but to stock up on reagents and look for opportunities to use "good" spells. (The main problem here is, all the neutral spells tend to be way more useful.)
Saturday

EVL has breakfast while Felicia indulges her nature hobby and birdwatches.

She also tries her hand at treasure hunting. Digs up a bigger than normal rock.

The main part of the day consisted of EVL at his job -- he came home with a promotion, now he's an Underwater Demolitionist -- and Felicia either studying or making reagents, so let's skip ahead to her taking a late-afternoon trip to the General Store. This is just the standard one that came with "Bon Voyage" -- I'll get fancy with my Sim-owned stores.

My main reason for sending her here? Getting some formal clothes for their wedding, whenever that may be. I found a nice gown for her (never mind that it doubles as PJs) and a nice suit for EVL. $800, but they've got some cash to spend now (over $7,000 even with that purchase).

Felicia decides to indulge in some Luau Ribs while she's there. Om nom nom.

And she sure plays a mean pinball. (I actually watched her play, and it's got the ball bouncing off stuff and everything. Neat!)

Back at home, EVL goes through a phase of failing at all his teleports. What the hell? (He was doing better by nightfall, though.)

Maybe some yoga will help.

Felicia studies the Ways of the Light for a while. Come on, Felicia, get back up to Infalliably Good just long enough for the Throne. . .

More magickings. Is it obvious I really really like the warlocks and witches? Maybe that's why I like this family so much, I've got two in one go. . . .

And we close on my Sims going to sleep and me realizing the wolf named Baron playing with Felicia's hole is in fact a Leader of the Pack. Should have had somebody go down and say hello -- EVL's got a vampire friend, so why not add potential lycanthropy to the mix?
Hope you enjoyed that! Next Sims update from me should be from
ink_sec_sims, though.
