I -- find myself intrigued. Even if one clip involved retching. (Ramsay got served a rancid scallop. Which I believe is beyond dangerous.) I dunno why, maybe it's the "OMG that's an eatery?" factor. And I guess it's easier to watch when your restaurant experience these days involves ordering sandwiches from Subway.
Also, over on tumblr, Forgotten Vows's angsty "berserk button" plot has given way to Alice asking awkward questions about if he has sex dreams about her. His life, ladies and gentlemen.
-RPM: . . .Nice to know tumblr's just as insane as LJ?-

Date: 2012-01-27 11:13 am (UTC)I say Restaurant: Impossible is better, though. I'll admit I only watched the one episode of Kitchen Nightmares but at least with R:I they go into detail about the budget and timeframe and what was done to the decor and menu and a little update at the end.

Date: 2012-01-28 04:54 am (UTC)I think the UK version is better than the US version in that regard with KN -- and I think they revamped the US version slightly in Season 3 to account for what happens afterwards. I'm just going by what I read on TV Tropes, however.
