Ponies! Moar Ponies!
Feb. 17th, 2012 11:21 pmThough actually the first thing to mention isn't pony-related: McFly Update from Inkwell Secundus! Linda celebrates a birthday in this one. :)
-M: I love how you keep making it look like her family hates her in that. Don't the Sims themselves actually get along?-
Yeah, but it's funnier to play along with the fact she always seems to get left out of stuff.
And now, onto ponies. Been playing around with General Zoi's Pony Creator, and been considering cutie marks. Specifically, I've made a couple of new ponies, and added Paint-drawn cutie marks to some old ones. Let's have a look, shall we?

Doc Brown gets a simple "flux capacitor" cutie mark. And yes, it's blue, not yellow -- it's finally sunk into my brain that it really does glow more blue.

Marty McFoal has a skateboard cutie mark, since his skateboarding skills seemed to come in handy throughout the trilogy. It's got yellow wheels to reference his Valterra, which has yellow wheels in at least some of its appearances I believe. :p

Alice Saddell has her Vorpal Blade, of course. (I couldn't put it on her Wonderland form, as she's always in her dress/cape thing.)

Victor Van Dort (Van Dock?) has three musical notes. Of course, they're supposed to be under his wing -- that's the one problem with pegasi, their wings tend to get in the way of cutie marks. But this doesn't look too bad, as long as you go with the idea that the wing is supposed to be semi-transparent.

And now, the newest ponies! This is Wheatley Pony, since for some reason I find myself needing to ponify the Portal 2 cores (or, at least, my favorite two). He's a pretty simple design based off his core colors. His cutie mark is a speech bubble, mainly because one of the hallmarks of his character is that he rambles. If he has a special talent, it's definitely talking. XD

Aaand, everybody's other favorite core, Space! He's a pegasus because -- well, he's SPACE. He kind of has to be. He's got mechanical wings to represent his AI/robot nature. And his cutie mark is three stars because -- well, see the fact that he's SPACE again.

And just for fun, a "Hearts and Hooves Day" image I made in celebration of last week's MLP:FiM episode. I made it by making Victor and Alice separately, flipping one, and merging the background as best I could with the use of Paint. That weird-ass flower thing is hiding the worst of the seam. I don't think it's half-bad, though. Alice looks cute when she's shyly happy in pony form.
I hope you all enjoyed this look at me being perhaps a bit too into making pony forms for my own good. (I've even got codes now so I can recreate these guys.) Someone stop me!
-D: At least before she makes a pony form journal!-
Oh God, don't even tempt me.
