These three are the Rutledge Asylum for Wayward Girls. I tried to make the front facade look as right as possible (based off a picture from the A:MR Storybook app), and to match some of the floor/wall colors. I think it came out pretty well -- you can see I found a place to stick my gyroscope. Accidentally put in one too many sinks without thinking, though -- I was considering how they'd clean plates. I'll delete it once Alice and co move in.

And this set is the Houndsditch Home for Wayward Boys. Again, mainly focused on getting the basic outside to look right, and match wall/floor colors. I also threw in some basic architecture. I know there's a lot of empty space -- I originally intended to throw in more clutter to make it look lived-in, but I happened to check out the lot worth and found my gaggle of crazies wouldn't be able to afford it. It's barely within their price range as it is.

Overall, I don't think they're bad asylums for the challenge. Each has its good and bad points -- Rutledge is smaller, but it's cheaper; Alice can spend a little extra time looking for a job because she'll have food money. Houndsditch, on the other hand, has more room, but is way more expensive; Victor will have to get a job quickly.

Anyway, that's my major accomplishment of the day. I've also finally decided on a chapter break for Chapter 13, so look for that to be posted soon. Now the question becomes -- will Chapter 14 be Barkis meeting the Queen AND the Queen assaulting the city, or just Barkis meeting the Queen? If it's the latter, 14 will be rather short, but I feel like Victor's final butterfly dream should open a chapter. . . .
