crossover_chickFirst: Watched the MagFest "Southland Tales" crossover review with Linkara and a bunch of other Channel Awesome reviewers. Confusing as hell movie, but the review/snarking was good. And the ending was great. You see, the reviewers get pissed at Linkara and tell him he's got to use time travel to get them the hours they wasted back. Now, Linkara's cosplaying as the 7th Doctor during the review, so I thought he'd find himself a prop TARDIS.
Nope.
The BTTF theme came on, and he used somebody's DeLorean.
Linkara, have I mentioned lately that I LOVE YOU?
Second: EVL update! It's on the shortish side since he didn't visit the shop today. But hey, some stuff happened regardless:
Saturday
We start the day with Tom using the weather machine to extend fall a little while longer. This is mostly because I want a chance to get one more fruit harvest off my trees before they go dormant for Sim winter. 3 days should do it.
Felicia's latest attempt at creating a vase goes -- poorly. I keep it around to fill her shelf of "failed pottery."
Lorina's faring better downstairs -- some studying before baking results in her first unburned muffin.
Trees need trimming? Call on your local robot!
Inside, EVL works on robots and Lorina catches up on her homework.
Then, since it's the weekend, she has a friend over -- Camryn. Though why they choose to talk about skiing, I'll never know.
Camryn brings a friend along -- Vamsi, who's a friend of Tom's. Double socialization for the win!
Aren't they cute? And it's nice for Lorina to have a friend.
Lunchtime means EVL finally making some use out of that catfish in his inventory.
Behold -- everyone's first meal of sparkly food! And there's plenty of leftovers, considering how fast this stuff fills you up.
Awwww, Lorina's only too happy to greet her mom after a hard day at work.
Felicia's attempt to hunt for bugs goes -- poorly.
Felicia: I'M COVERED IN BEES
Lorina's having a better time inside, getting her creativity on and creating a picture for the wall (which I just realized isn't all that visible -- my apologies).
A long soak in the tub removes the bees (my god), allowing Felicia bonding time with her infant.
And it pays off -- she and Nell are now best buds. I didn't get a chance to toddlerize Nell, though. That'll happen in the morning of the next update.
Harvest time! The tomato and strawberry plants all come up for harvesting. Tom and Felicia each net 14 tomatoes and 7 strawberries apiece. All sorts of juices are available now.
If you're wondering where EVL is, he's stocking up on reagents. Dragon Scales and Mystic Dust, mostly. Hmm -- I should send him to the magical world next update and have him stock up on some of the others.
I finally tell Felicia to suck it up and change a diaper already.
And our update ends on Tom making more robots for the store, and Felicia making Sir Bricks-a-lots to try and get a Bronze Toy-Making badge.
And that's it for now. Expect a Ink Sec Liddells update tomorrow, and we'll see if Alice gets her new sibling!
