Wednesday Of Errors

Well, all right, there were only two, really, but still:
-->The bus that I was supposed to take to CCRI? Never showed up. I don't know if it came extra-early today, broke down, or got caught in traffic. The point is, I waited in fairly cold weather for 20 minutes before admitting defeat, going home, and getting a ride from Dad.
-->Right in the middle of my Geology class, while we were watching a DVD on Iceland -- the power went out. According to rumors, somebody crashed off-campus and took out a transformer or something. Power stayed out for a good fifteen-twenty minutes. I think a lot of kids ended up ditching because they didn't think the power was gonna be restored anytime soon. At any rate, my Spanish class seemed emptier than usual.
-->EDIT: Thought of a third! Dad and I are watching a miniseries on Netflix called "Walking With Monsters," about life before the dinosaurs arrived. The beginning of the first episode said it was going to focus on water-dwellers and the evolution of amphibians, but what we got was a show about early reptiles and such in the desert, and the evolution into the dinosaur. We were naturally confused. However, seeing episode 2 cleared up a few things -- somehow, we've gotten the episodes in reverse order -- but the BEGINNINGS in the right order. That is, Episode 1's beginning is inexplicably paired with Episode 3. I have no idea how that happened, but at least we figured out what was what! Now we just have to see if Episode 3 is really Episode 1. . .
I suppose we can add to the list of errors my continually-thwarted desire to get "Finding You" up on Ao3. It's my own damn fault -- I thought this was going to go quick, since I could just pop them up there. But then I decided to look chapter 1 over, and make some corrections. . . I've also been distracted by other projects -- mainly, writing "In The Land of the Dead" and "For You Were Not The One" and editing/expanding "Forgetting You." Speaking of which:
Alice Progress: Going Through Chapter 3 - Monastery Shelf Valley, "Alice: Madness Returns" (Current Dress: Silk Maiden)
Though I really should have swapped that dress -- I just did a whole section that relied on navigating invisible platforms! How the hell did I completely forget about the Caterpillar dress? Well, never mind, I'll switch it before I go back into the game tomorrow.
EDIT: Oh yeah! I noticed something new about the vases scattered about the landscape in that section! Now, I'd known thanks to a gander at the American McGee Forums that there's a vase in Radcliffe's house that shows the Lion and the Unicorn from the poem of the same name that's featured in "Through the Looking Glass," and that it shows up again as repeated scenery throughout the Mysterious East. What I just realized today was that that's not the only poem or song referenced on the vases! How did I figure this out?
By scanning the landscape, seeing an unusual figure on a vase -- and figuring out it was a lobster.
They have Lobster Quadrille vases! :D And, also from the first book, How Doth the Busy Crocodile vases, with the Croc welcoming the fishies in. How the hell did I miss this on my first playthrough?! It's awesome! :D I love this game so much. . .
All righty, I'm honestly feeling quite tired, so I'm probably just gonna browse the web for a bit. But tomorrow, I'm going to do my damndest to get that chapter up!
