Happy Halloween Part 2!

crossover_chickHalloween came back for a while today -- the trick-or-treating was moved to tonight because of the hurricane. Result? I got back in my jumpsuit for a few hours and handed out candy to a few groups of trick-or-treaters. :D Fun times -- it just didn't feel right not to be able to say hello to the kids before. :)
Anyway, got some progress updates for y'all:
NaNo Progress: 6,120/50,000
Not bad. Turning what I expected to be a short chase scene into something longer and more comedic certainly helps with the word count. XD Still took me a bit to get me where I wanted it, though. (Aiming for about 2,000 words per day.)
Alice Progress: Completed "Alice: Madness Returns"
Yes, it is done! :D Though not without some difficulty. The third part of the boss fight, where you need to shoot the faces off Bumby's Ruinous tongue, gave me a LOT of difficulty. Mostly because there's Drifting Ruin around while you're doing that, and between them, the hands, and Bumby spitting out crap, I died twice trying to defeat him for good. And the last time I had to really abuse Hysteria mode. (For some reason, shrinking to regain my health didn't work. Either it doesn't work in the boss fight, or I accidentally put Alice on Story Mode by mistake (she'd still be wearing the Classic Dress, but the special abilities would be nerfed).) But still, I made it, and Bumby was summarily executed! Yay. Now I just need to kick "Forgetting You's" ass. . .
