Because with this story, the 14 Sins & Virtues table is officially done! Another thing off the list! So let's have a virtue to along with WALL*E-related sin:

WALL*E
Sometimes, Victor wondered who he was doing this job for.
Not often. Most of the time he was content to wander through the trash piles, cubing up garbage with his semi-functional WALL*E unit, picking out interesting things and putting them in his cooler, and humming various bits of music to himself. But sometimes, when he looked up at the dusty yellow sky, he had a flicker of doubt. He had no idea how long the humans had actually been gone on their interstellar cruises (his internal clock hadn’t worked properly in ages), but he knew it was a long time. Much longer than the advertisements that still blared out from every working holoboard claimed. Were they ever coming back? Was he cleaning up this planet for nothing? Sure, he had his directive – SUPERVISE AND ASSIST WASTE ALLOCATION LOAD LIFTERS: EARTH CLASS IN THE CLEANING OF EARTH IN PREPARATION FOR THE RETURN OF HUMANKIND. But did it actually mean anything? The WALL*Es had all failed – even the one he carried under his arm didn’t have a working A.I. anymore. If he put it down, it would just sit in the same spot until it rusted away. And the humans had been gone for years – decades – maybe even centuries. . . .
But then he’d shake his head. They had to be coming back. They couldn’t stay away forever. They wouldn’t have abandoned him to a useless directive. (Something in his damaged brain sparked at that, something about the humans not doing such a thing, but that led back to the nightmares that liked to torment his sleep mode and he didn’t want to think about those.) One day they’d return, and they’d fix his WALL*Es, and he’d succeed in his directive, and he wouldn’t be alone (except for Scraps) anymore. He just had to keep believing, and keep doing a good job.
So he’d turn back to his cubing, collecting, and humming, letting the moment of doubt pass as if it never were. Everything would be all right eventually. And as long as he believed that, things were okay now.

This is kind of a bittersweet thing -- I imagine the actual WALL*E had to deal with this quite a lot himself. Wondering if he was going to be alone forever, save for Hal. . . Of course, we as the audience know it's not going to be that way, but all Victor has to go on is his conviction that no way would the humans abandon him. And to fair, the humans didn't exactly mean to. . .

Anyway, I promised to talk a little more about the universe in this thing. We covered most of the main plot changes (the characters being fandom-based androids, and AUTO and GO-4 being a lot more evil with their purposely breaking Victor to keep the humans in space (which, incidentally, is what Victor's remembering in that moment up there)), so I'll get a little more into the characters here. Victor-as-WALL*E acts a lot like WALL*E in the film -- he's curious, loves music (although of course he loves classical music as well as musicals -- and when he's properly functioning, he enjoys playing piano), and is very lonely. His pet is still a cockroach -- I just named him Scraps for obvious reasons. He looks basically like Victor, except that his suit is yellow, with a BnL logo embroidered on his jacket, above his name. He's got a small trash compactor inside of him (they thought he should have one in case he was needed in the field -- it's not as good as the ones in the WALL*Es, though, so that's why he carries one around), pop-out wheels in his shoes (for faster travel), and a recorder, which he uses to record and play music he likes. He's also solar-powered, though I don't know if he should have flip-out panels or if his skin should just serve as his recharger. He lives inside a WALL*E truck like in the film -- he just curls up in a corner rather than putting himself to sleep on a shelf.

Alice-as-EVE is also like her movie counterpart -- a no-nonsense badass girl who's revealed to have a soft side. My backstory for her is that she used to be a lot more easygoing, but after the inventor who built her and his family died in an accidental house fire, she hardened herself to avoid going through another loss. (Not sure if I should bring Bumby into this or not -- it's ultimately not important to Alice's story, since by the time of the "movie," he'd be looong dead.) She looks like a paler version of Wonderland Alice, in a white dress, white boots, and a black wrapwround visor covering her eyes. The boots and dress skirt both serve as thrusters helping her flight. Like Victor, she has a stasis chamber inside of her like her underlings for possible fieldwork (which is fortunate when the EVEs break down). She also has a blade weapon that flips out of her forearm (Vorpal Blade, as you might guess), and a "grenade" launcher of sorts in the palm of her opposite hand (Teapot Cannon). As the story goes on, she ends up cutting her hair to London length (as seen in the previous drabble) and losing the visor, both of which show how she's loosening up as she falls in love with Victor.

I don't have any other interesting designs for any of the other characters except M-O. And that design is a character I doubt most of you know -- Henry Sikorsky from The Dream Team. It's a story about a group of four mental patients who get stuck in New York after their psychiatrist takes them out there to see a baseball game. The psychiatrist is attacked by two crooked cops, and it's up to the patients to catch the killers and avoid getting accused of the crime themselves. Henry's played by Christopher Lloyd, and his psychosis is -- well, basically an intense version of OCD. He's obsessed with cleanliness and rules. Who better for M-O?

Whew! And that's that! I hope you enjoyed that series. I did. It's nice, getting to ramble on about weird-ass multifandom crossovers that I'll probably never do because I have too much other stuff I want to write. :p Ah well, there's always these snippets.

Anyway, I've got other stuff I want/need to answer, so off I go!
