mallowhallow are stepping down? Well, today they announced who the new mod is going to be.
*waves*
Yes, I actually applied for the job -- I know I said I didn't know if I was up to it, but I found myself constantly thinking about the sort of stuff I'd do if I WAS a mod, and decided, "Screw it, I should try. I don't want the game to go belly-up and I at least have ideas!"
And yeah, apparently they loved my application and -- I've got the whole shebang handed over to me. The old mod team is staying around for a bit to ease the transition, which I appreciate. But still -- I am now God High Empress of Mallow Hallow.
I won't lie -- I'm a little nervous. I haven't modded before (I don't think the Inkwell really counts), and I don't want to do a bad job. But on the other hand, I really do like Mallow, and people seem to like my ideas so far, so. . . *shrugs* I'll just do the best I can! Mallow is a pretty easy-going game anyway, and the population is currently rather small, so it shouldn't be too bad. Wish me luck!
Anyway -- current status is in the middle of a chat, so I'd better head out for now. Sorry about the lack of Chapter 8 -- I will really try to get that up tomorrow! Hopefully in the morning sometime.
