REALLY Quiet Day

Barely any tags on the RP front on either site. O.o Sheesh, I kind of wish we could switch today and Monday's activity levels -- I wouldn't have felt nearly so bad about my brief burnout if nothing was happening anyway. Ah well, I've probably jinxed it to be a lot busier tomorrow, so I suppose I should enjoy the quiet while I can. :P
Not much happening on the job front either -- I thought I found another place to apply to on Craigslist, but it turned out to be in what my parents describe as a "bad neighborhood" in Providence, so I think I'll give it a skip. Hopefully something else will come up that I can submit a resume to.
So, what to say. . . Watched one of Linkara's live shows (a Godzilla comic, rawr) and Nostalgia Critic (Bridge To Teribitha, which he said wasn't the worst film ever, but overdid a little on the schmaltziness). Did another passover on Chapter 16 of "Forgetting You" -- thinking that'll pop up on the tubes tomorrow.
Oh, and what turned out to be semi-big -- looked up more info on The Sims 4 -- animation embargo ended today. Apparently Sims are genuinely going to be smarter and move more smoothly with the new engine -- everyone kept talking about awesome demonstrations of the new routing stuff. When a group of Sims standing in a circle were all told to go to the opposite side of the circle, they didn't all huff and moan and wave helplessly in the air when they met in the middle -- they actually just went around each other. It's encouraging news. I'm just worried that rabbitholes will still be prevalent. Nevertheless, I will probably check it out -- though I'm holding to my guns on not getting it upon first release. Let the patchers do their job first, at least -- and if I wait until the end of the year, I could conceivably grab it and the first expansion pack. Hooray more gameplay!
Anyway -- there's a little activity on tumblr, so I'll go attend to day for now. Later!
