Google Grrs

Had a bit of a grumpy evening involving "adventures in getting Google to accept a log-in from someone else on the mallowmod's Google account" -- fortunately, Linkara and ice cream helped soothe that. I'm looking forward to seeing how the storyline with Nimue plays out. I watched the trailer for October, and that last line of hers really hit me in the gut.

I can't complain too much about the rest of the day -- got two hours doing the housesitting gig, so I'm guaranteed twenty bucks for the week, and Mom will probably have me come in for a bit tomorrow too. I finished "Card Castles In The Sky," just like I wanted to. I got the vacuuming done for the upstairs hall, stairs, living room, and the carpeted half of the kitchen. I'm caught up on tags at the moment (even on tumblr)! And I had a good session of "Alice" -- I got lost briefly in both snark-themed levels, but I got my wits about me eventually. I'm almost done with Queen of Heartsland -- I stopped right before going through the portal in Machinations so I didn't have to worry about being taken by surprise by the Jabberwock boss fight tomorrow. Hopefully I can give the bastard a very bad day. (Also, funny note -- it's going to take me a little over a week to get through the first Alice, playing about a hour a day. Not bad, huh?) So yeah, not a bad Tuesday at all.

As it is right now, though, I should probably check Butterfly Boy's account for tags, and then continue on my merry way. Later!

I gotta ask...carpet in the kitchen?! o.O

Well, not in the part you cook in. . . I don't want to say it's a separate room because it's really not, but it's divided off from the rest of the kitchen by this big old counter with a gap in front of the fridge. The kitchen proper has got linoleum.

Ah that's what I thought, but it still sounds weird, like carpet in the bathroom! :OD

LOL -- this house was not designed in Sims. I think. (Seriously, the only way to get in and out of the kitchen proper is this tiny gap right in front of the fridge, almost all the heater ducts are under windows, and half the walls appear to be crooked.)
