Avoiding Oysters

crossover_chickAKA I'm just before the Oyster Beds part of the Deluded Depths, having done Barrelbottom, Dreary Lane Theater, the Octopus's lair, and the Music Fish's grove. I'm up to three Radula Rooms and 11/15 memories, I believe. Still loving the scenery -- could have done without that creepy starfish with the round mouth full of teeth, but what can you do. The Nose Starfish still make me laugh, though. And getting to use the Teapot Cannon on those wretched Drowned Sailors is good times. Things I have noticed:
-->There's a banner for Totentaz at the front of the theater! Not sure how I missed it before.
-->I am growing to quite enjoy breaking the way you're supposed to do the switches. Exploiting tight gaps and the fact a lot of them can be shot from behind is strangely satisfying.
-->The Octopus's typewriter has a brand name -- Octotype! XD I love little details like that.
-->I am apparently shite at that HMS Gryphon minigame -- I nearly lost all my lives going through the Radula Room one. But my poor, wrecked Gryphon made it in the end. And I got to see more Tundraful Sky Vale. :D I love that little area -- it's so beautiful and awesome.
I imagine I'll come pretty close to finishing off the Depths tomorrow -- I should get past those three crypts in the graveyard. Oh, joy. *shakehead* Hopefully I won't suck too badly at them. . .and it won't be too much of a pain in the ass to get that one Liddell memory afterward. Meeeeh.
Productive news of the day -- spent three hours housesitting, looked over Chapter 18 and "Card Castles," and finished my essay on Valice at last. Hooray, I do things again. Now I just need to learn to get on tumblr earlier for the RP business. Speaking of which, I ought to get back to that. Later!
