Okay, figuring out Moonlight's size SHOULDN'T be this difficult!
-TTV: O.o?-
I've been trying to figure out just how big Moonlight should be when he's full-grown. According to
nestoflitts, noncanon silvers are the fourth-largest fire lizard, placed between bronzes and browns. However, I've seen a LOT of different sizes for fire lizards in looking for information on them on the web! Some put the largest (golds) at only barely two feet, others make browns two-footers, another puts them at over two and a half -- argh! Look, I can guess that Moonlight isn't going to get beyond three feet. But what size under that is right? *tears out hair*
*shakehead* Anyway, just came off play A:MR. Got through past the Liddell Memory Door of Chapter 3, right before more musical minigames. Some thoughts:
-->There are ants that have been LITERALLY RIPPED APART in the opening village! D: I really love the Origami Ants, so this distresses me.
-->I kind of love how Alice's IQ test is a block puzzle that's pathetically easy (and trust me, as someone who normally isn't too good at those, I would know). Oh Ants. . .
-->I really get the feeling that the opening village would be a beautiful place with an awesome view if it wasn't so cloudy. And if everyone weren't dead.
-->The scrolls really are beautifully drawn, even if the controls are kind of shite.
-->I love the Porcelain Peaks, as I call the area after that scroll. The trees are just plain awesome, and you get three Alice poem designs on the vases: a lion versus a unicorn (The Lion & The Unicorn -- this particular design is also visible in Radcliffe's house), a turtle dancing with a lobster (The Lobster Quadrille), and a crocodile about to eat a bunch of fish (How Doth The Little Crocodile). :D
-->I tried to hack the second fire-trap scroll by jumping onto it from the side so it wouldn't start moving. It told me "fuck you" and started having random spurts of fire come up as if it were scrolling. I did a different version and ran and jumped along the edge. Got hit once, but made it over with a minimum of fuss, so yay me.
-->In the area right after the slide, where you navigate all the little wooden hallways -- if you look up, there's a giant statue of Caterpillar! O.O How the hell did I miss that?? I mean, there's a prompt that shows you the hookah if you press C, but still! O.O
-->I also hacked the fight that comes right before you get to the door -- stayed in the hallway and fought most of the wasps one on one. XD Big Daimyo didn't come into the hallway, but he did do his ground-pound move, so I just nailed him with the Teapot Cannon til he stopped moving.
-->Main problem I have -- making sure Alice is facing the right way when I'm attacking. She does a lot of random hitting the ground in crowd fights. ^^;
Anyway -- I should check out tumblr now, do a few things before I'm called away by supper and Halloween Wars.
