Spider-Man 2 was AWESOME. Tobey Maguire is a terrific actor -- he is Spider-Man. And Doc Ock was simply cool. I mean, he never meant to be really evil. He was trying to do good things, and it backfired drastically on him. And the bits with Harry Osborn -- hehehehehehe. TERRIFIC movie. Can't wait until 3. *fingers crossed that, in some way, Venom will show up*
-D: Who's Venom?-
He's kind of like a very twisted version of Spider-Man. I'm afraid my knowledge is a bit limited. He's a bad guy, but he's not really a killer. (Except in Spidey's case, I believe he wants to kill him.) I've got a comic featuring him, and he keeps saying he wants to protect people from Spidey.
-M: Sounds like a wack-job.-
Yeah. Explain to me why I like him.
Anyway, Spider-Man 2 was the greatest since X-2, so now I have to see what's new on my Spider-Man Deluxe Edition DVD set. *shiver* Marvel, just for Spidey and the X-Men, I LOVE YOU.
Here's something interesting -- I think Stan Lee makes one cameo in every Marvel movie. He's an older guy with big glasses and gray hair. I've seen some Marvels, so here's a quick list:
X-Men --> He's the hot-dog guy on the beach when Senator Kelly emerges from the water.
X-2 --> Haven't seen him in there yet.
Spider-Man --> He's in the World Unity vest, he pulls a little girl away from the review stand wreckage.
Spider-Man 2 --> Once again, I think he pulls someone away from getting crushed while Doc Ock is terrorizing a building.
Hulk --> He's coming out of the building Banner works with, along with the original TV series Hulk I believe.
Daredevil --> I didn't watch this one, so I can't tell ya.

Re: Took you long enough...
Date: 2004-07-20 07:25 pm (UTC)Man, you're good with this Venom stuff. I knew about the Eddie Brock thing, but I didn't know about David and Todd and the limited series. Thanks for the info. (Really, I think it's the tongue. I think that tongue is sexy.)
-D: *eyes wide* What -- the ---
Yes, I'm strange.
I've changed my "Who is the next main Spidey villian" guess. I think the new villian will be Lizard. His alter-ego, Dr. Conners (sp?) was kinda set up in this movie, complete with missing arm. Just a hunch I've got.
