"This is just...bleh. You've been reading too much Anne Rice, haven't you? Vampires and time travel just don't go together. It's evidence of an extremely fractured worldview."

What amuses me?
I've never read Anne Rice in my life. The closest I've come is a few excerpts in my various "vampire encyclopedias." She's just not my cup of tea. I much prefer the good-guy vampire Saint-Germain from Chelsea Quinn Yarbro.
Also, why wouldn't vampires and time travel go together? Time-traveling vampires have a heads-up on normal time-travelers. After all, there's no risk of aging in a foreign time. Plus, s/he made the review on "World of Light," which I actually have no time-travel plans for.
-D: Ironic.-
I know. Whatever, if she thinks it's bleh, she thinks it's bleh. I intend to write it to the finish.
-VD: *poke*-
You try finishing Chapter Five!
-D: How's "Reality Check?"-
Coming along, albeit a bit slowly. I'm back in Hill Valley right now, trying to write Chris dialogue. I really wish he did more interviews and such, I'm used to his "movie voices" -- Doc, Henry (The Dream Team), Jim, Martin (My Favorite Martian). Tracie told me he was more soft-spoken in real life.
-M: It's weird to think of Doc as being "soft-spoken."-
Tell me about it.

*has been thinking about this* I'm wondering if I should start up my SimJournal again, but put it in a LiveJournal format. Make another free account just for reporting the activities of my Sims.
-VD2: But you always post in here for them.-
Yeah, I'm considering the fact that it could be overkill. It also reminds me of how ticked off I was to find half of it erased for no apparent reason *hits 150m.com*. *shrug* I dunno. Off to more fan fiction.

Sorry, but now I'm wondering -- for those of you who read my vampire fan fiction, do I really write like Anne Rice?

There is a huge difference between you and Anne Rice. It's been awhile, but what I remember from reading Anne Rice is that she is very, very, wordy. She would wander off in these wierd tangents when she was describing something. That's probably why I stopped reading her stuff.

Your stuff, on the other hand, is great. No wierd tangents, good stories. A different incarnation of the characters we know and love, but they are still believeable. At least you also write fics about the "normal" BttF characters too. "Dark Half" is disturbing, but so is Mary Jean's "Until the end of time"!

I prefer P.N. Elrod over Anne Rice anyway. :)
