A negative review that amused me

"This is just...bleh. You've been reading too much Anne Rice, haven't you? Vampires and time travel just don't go together. It's evidence of an extremely fractured worldview."

What amuses me?
I've never read Anne Rice in my life. The closest I've come is a few excerpts in my various "vampire encyclopedias." She's just not my cup of tea. I much prefer the good-guy vampire Saint-Germain from Chelsea Quinn Yarbro.
Also, why wouldn't vampires and time travel go together? Time-traveling vampires have a heads-up on normal time-travelers. After all, there's no risk of aging in a foreign time. Plus, s/he made the review on "World of Light," which I actually have no time-travel plans for.

Coming along, albeit a bit slowly. I'm back in Hill Valley right now, trying to write Chris dialogue. I really wish he did more interviews and such, I'm used to his "movie voices" -- Doc, Henry (The Dream Team), Jim, Martin (My Favorite Martian). Tracie told me he was more soft-spoken in real life.

*has been thinking about this* I'm wondering if I should start up my SimJournal again, but put it in a LiveJournal format. Make another free account just for reporting the activities of my Sims.

Yeah, I'm considering the fact that it could be overkill. It also reminds me of how ticked off I was to find half of it erased for no apparent reason *hits 150m.com*. *shrug* I dunno. Off to more fan fiction.

Sorry, but now I'm wondering -- for those of you who read my vampire fan fiction, do I really write like Anne Rice?

Meet the Claytons

Lorraine, Jennifer, and Clara (in that order)


I'm still not satisfied with Lorraine's hairstyle. The problem is, in the movies, her adult self has hair that is straight on the top, but curly at the bottom. It's also a short-to-medium hairstyle. I couldn't find anything that really fit for her, so I finally ended up with that one.
-M: *studies* Jennifer looks okay to me. Jen?-
-J: *studies* Clothes are a bit wacky, but I think I'm good.-
Well, it was the best I could do. Sims 2 are definitely 2004 Sims. And I'm really not a skinner at all.
-VD2: I can see that with Clara. I thought her hair would be up.-
None of those styles made me think of her. That one did. I think it makes her look like the old MJ Holmes Sim Clara.
-VD2: I'll agree with you there. She looks fine.-
Aspirations are Family for both Jennifer and Lorraine, and Knowledge for Clara. I thought about making Lorraine Romance, but I figured she's more the type to lavish attention on her life partner.
-J: *grin* I think mine fits me too.-
Your Part II self seemed quite eager to get into married life, honestly. :)

As for the Lloyds, they're doing just great. I gave them a tree and a catus with some grass outside. I also remodeled the kitchen area a bit -- they now have some extra counter and a stove. Since Josie's almost up to level 7 in cooking skill, I figured a stove would be safe. I also bought a loveseat to satisfy one of Mystie's wants. Gypsy has been promoted to Nurse too. Josie and Mystie also became best friends over pancakes. Mystie made friends with Weldon too, and wants to be his best friend as well.
-D: Quite the social butterflies you have there.-
Not really, they've only got two friends, both Mysteria's. I need to get them to meet you guys. But they're doing great on rewards. I can get them a practically-free hot tub now -- the Love Tub. Maybe Mystie can get some Whoo-Hoo in that and satisfy a power want.
-D: *a bit puzzled* What do you mean, a pratically free hot tub?-
The Love Tub is an Aspiration Reward. Special candles allow you to do more interactions with your intended lover inside. Once they're burned down, you have a nice hot tub you can still use.
-D: Ah, that is a bargain.-
