Story Update!

-D: I was under the impression you weren't working on "BTTX-2" until after the movie tomorrow.-
Yeah, but let's face it -- that chapter was ready to be posted. I've gone over it a bunch of times.
-TD: That's true. You seem to overdo the editing at times.-
Well, I don't want to put up crap. . . .
-VD: Well, we don't want to star in crap either.-
-VD2: We've seen enough of it on that site.
*patpat* I'll do my best to please you. I also finished up my page count for "Past Amnesia" and I've been working pretty diligently on my little one-off story.
-OD: Well, that's good -- even if no one except us gets to see it yet.-
-VuM: Are you ever going to show it to people?-
I might. I've got to write up the related stories first, of course -- I might include the one-off as a "bonus story" at the end of "Defintion of a Friend." That's the one it really relates to.
-DW: A hidden story link, so to speak? Interesting.-
Yeah. So don't worry, interested people (of which I'm sure there are few), you'll probably be seeing this someday in the future.

revison_doc update -- Doc's bought DocBots! I've discovered to my everlasting horror that you can fit 12 Toy Robots on a shelf unit! My Sims are never going to have lives again!
-TD: Making robots all day, every day? Sounds like a good life to me.-
-VDM: You're forgetting the whole "sleeping and eating" business again.-
-TD: Stupid biological functions. *sets about trying to invent the Sims's Energizer*-
What worries me is that I still want to have Doc in the Time Travel career -- and I don't know that final level's hours! Or the pay he'll bring in -- he's down to about 50,000 simoleons after creating and stocking his store. It's certainly enough to live on for a while, but I'm still worried about him going broke.
-D: *pats my shoulder* Welcome to the world of self-owned businesses!-

-D: *rolls eyes* You wouldn't believe it.-
-VD: I'm sure you'll do all right -- like you said, my SimSelf has a tidy little nest egg and a regular job to fall back on.-
Yeah, and I think I'll be hiring some employees soon too. *hopes that SimDoc will be able to build Verne Servo soon* A Servo would be a HELL of a help for a business, I bet.
-TD: Yes, I can imagine. *makes plans to build one of those too*-

Okay, back to work on the one-off, and then bed. Gotta get up a little earlier tomorrow -- movie time! Yay three day weekends! :D
