Getting Things Set Up

Working on getting the 'puter the way I like it. I've managed to get a good chunk of my logins re-instated, though I still have to put in all the ones for Dreamwidth. I also installed "Portal 2" to see how this thing handles some gaming. Took me a few tries (first because I hadn't properly plugged in the optical drive (it's a separate doodad on this computer), then because Steam was being an asshole), but eventually the game was up and running! I played a few challenge chambers. Ran well, looked very nice -- I think we should be golden! I'll be installing more stuff over the weekend and getting everything properly personalized and the like. So far, though, I liiiikey. Especially the speakers, which are aaaaamazing. :D

Not much else to report, except the red curse has hit and left me feeling a bit groggy. So I'm going to finish up on tumblr (managed to crank out a bunch of replies) and head to bed. Night!
