No Double Eggs?
Mar. 25th, 2016 11:02 pmWhat is this madness, DragonVale? O.o Instead we get a sale on the Lapis dragon. I am completely confuzzled because I thought for sure we'd be getting a special double for Easter. I mean, they went ahead and hid extra eggs around the park for it! My current suspicions are A) having a Double next weekend, despite that being after the big event, or B) they're going to do like they did with the Valentine's event and do just a single day of doubles on Easter itself. The latter option is rather sucky of them, but I'll live with it so long as I can get all the dragons. Making them breedable by certain combos this time around does help. . .
In other news, as promised, Chapter 3 of "Remembering You" is up! Starts fairly sweet, gets angsty near the middle, swings back to sweet again, then ends on a fairly humorous note. This is a chapter of many moods. :p But I hope it's enjoyable. Can't say when the next one will be out, but I'm making good progress with Chapter 10, so I think it's safe to say there won't be any huge embarrassing gaps like I've had with some of my other stories. *pointedly not looking at a certain unfinished NaNo*
Other things of note:
-->Watched NC's review of The Phantom of the Opera (a co-review with Shark Jumping that danced on the meta line, as it was half about, well, actually making the review (specifically, doing it clipless-style to avoid copyright goblins)). Pretty damn funny, and since they reviewed a musical, they got to show off their various singing chops -- NC especially, in both good and bad ways. XD Too bad Linkara didn't even get a cameo, though -- I swear to you, sir, one of these days you will have a major part in one of their musical reviews!
-->Played Sims 4 -- poor Emmett was robbed out of a promotion because I didn't have the necessary stuff to complete all his work goals (although in one case I DID and didn't realize it -- he had to analyze an element, and I didn't know that one of the things he had on him was one). Still had a good day at work, though, and he managed to supplement his paycheck by selling a lot of crap out of his inventory. And I got him the ingredient he needs to make his next serum, so hopefully he'll be able to advance the next time he goes in.
And, of course, we're doing the usual late-night RP thing now. . .I swear, I think I'll be able to get on a little earlier, and then I'll think it won't take that long to listen to some music or read some TV Tropes. . .ah well, I'm sure they're all used to my schedule by now. Most of the people I RP with are night owls/in a night-owl-compatible time zone anyway. :P So off I go to complete my tumblr replies -- night all!
