crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
Traffic going in and coming out of Providence today was horrible (including an accident right at the spot where we usually get out to go on the highway -- bus had to take the long way around), and by the time I got in it was nearly 6 o'clock. It already takes about fifteen minutes to get to the parking lot, and I wasn't keen on a) driving in the dark and b) getting home and having a REALLY late dinner. So we ended up skipping today. We should be able to go tomorrow, though -- after all, gotta keep practicing! Gotta get that parking down. Fingers crossed things calm down enough tomorrow road-wise that I can get out at four!

Work was okay, at least -- mostly working on getting some instructions down about how we mark e-mails inactive after finding out which of our latest online newsletters bounced. Kinda nice to know it'll be a short week. Having vague thoughts about maybe going up to the mall on Saturday, since I haven't been in quite a while. . .we'll see how I feel closer to the actual weekend.

After the late arrival and then spending a good chunk of my before-dinner time helping Mom with a recommendation letter for an old coworker, I decided to cut myself a break and just did 500 words on a random AU snippet instead of anything serious on "Remembering You." Again, something I plan to remedy tomorrow -- though at least the first three chapters of that story are in reasonably good shape already. It's the rest that I'm going to have to wrassle. I'm still proud of the ending, though. Doubt it'll change too much, though it definitely needs some polish.

Not too much else to say -- just did a big old queue for Forgotten, and off to answer a couple of PMs on FF.net. And then bed, I think, because I got to sleep rather too late for my liking last night. You're pushing 30, Vic, you gotta start thinking of proper bedtimes. . .

So yeah, better start on that now. G'night!
