Suddenly Hit With The Tired
Mar. 10th, 2018 11:40 pmBrain fuzz making it kind of difficult to concentrate. . .red curse should be showing up soon, if this is any indication! I figured it would be this weekend. . .hopefully I can get over the worst of the "blahs" on Sunday so I'll be relatively fresh for work on Monday. At least it was a quiet RP night on tumblr -- one of my regular partners got a new video game, and the other one had only answered one thread and wasn't active, so I just found a bunch of fun stuff to queue up and told everyone I was taking off for the night. Not really in the right brain-state for sustained RP anyway.
Things accomplished today:
-->Giving Mom a bit of help as she prepared a bunch of meals for the upcoming week (normally she doesn't work this far ahead, but her eye surgery means she really won't be able to cook for a while, so she wants to give me and Dad some stuff that we can quickly prepare once I get home from work)
-->Cleaning my room (as always)
-->Writing some more on "The Technicolor Phase" (edited Alice's "kid" story, where she has an argument with her teacher about getting a color from Dinah -- hey, the cat that will eventually SAVE HER LIFE has to be important to her!)
-->Watching Linkara's big Infinite Crisis review (story is a pretty fascinating event, but very flawed -- writer apparently had no clue how to handle Wonder Woman, and there are some pretty confusing plot holes. Plus the Superboy Prime horribleness)
-->Playing a short session of BioShock 2 before dinner (I had about a half-hour, and I managed to get both of my final Little Sister gathers done and the girl rescued. Also, I upgraded Cyclone Trap to the level where you can arm the traps with other plasmids and wow is that fun :D I also kind of want to get either Incinerate 2 or Winter Blast 2, but I'm not sure which -- can't afford both. A question to ponder)
-->Watching Deli summarize the high points of a livestream showing off the new Sims 4 stuff pack coming out, "My First Pet" (the new pet clothes look cute, the new "small pet" seems adorable, and they have an interesting new death; but a lot of it feels like "Kids Room Stuff: Pets Edition" -- which I guess makes sense, given the title -- and it just feels like a moneygrab to me. Giving it a miss)
-->Posting the "lawn ornament" Scene From Secundus, featuring Twoflower from Discworld! I don't know how much he actually sounds like everyone's favorite tourist, but I wrote this pretty early on in my Disc fandom, so -- cut me a break? ^^;
-->Getting my VictorLuvsAlice queue done up to Tuesday, yay~ And I have the pictures all ready to go for Wednesday too -- but I think I'll wait and do that tomorrow, when I'm feeling a touch more awake.
All right, gonna read stuff and maybe watch another video or two before heading to bed. Might as well hit the sack a bit early if it's "Spring Forward" time. Night all -- hopefully I'll be a little less "guh" tomorrow!
