A Whole Day And STILL Not Fixed
Sep. 6th, 2018 11:25 pmYes, I'm talking about the GL -- though I did make SOME progress, I suppose. At the very least, I was able to get a spreadsheet made up showing when each batch over the past couple of weeks was deposited and posted and get them matched up with each summary sheet. I'm still off on one -- it's weird because I think I know what's throwing it off, but at the same time, it SHOULDN'T be throwing it off as it's part of a batch that is DEFINITELY ON for that day. . . And when we put in the numbers on the usual GL spreadsheet, the numbers kept changing in weird ways. . . Though I'm starting to wonder if that's just because some of these are older versions of the report and haven't been rerun properly. At least one difference I bet is because the wrong campaign ID was used. . . [shakehead] Hopefully we can just figure it out once and for all in the morning, and then I can work on something else for a change.
Hot one today -- real temperatures in the 90s, feel-like ones in the 100s! Really glad we have air conditioning at work and home. And then we had some pretty epic thunderstorms roll through while I was doing my workout. Fortunately they didn't last long, and I was able to take my shower at my usual time. Wasn't particularly keen on feeling gross all through dinner. . . Tomorrow's only supposed to be in the 70s, with much less humidity -- I certainly hope so! I know it's not quite the end of summer yet, but I'm in favor of a slight cool-down. I'm a little sick of these "waaay too hot to do anything" streaks. Soon enough it's going to be too cold to do anything -- give us some nice weather to enjoy beforehand, seriously!
On the plus side of today, I finished up Chapter 6 of "Fixing You!" Got on a good roll and just followed it through to the end. :) So that's all ready to go for next week, hooray! Now I just have to see how Chapter 7 will go. . .I suspect it too might end up divided into smaller chapters -- we'll find out if there's a good split point, or if I'm going to have a random long one, like in "Remembering You" (though I don't regret at all getting Nanny, the Whites, and Nell and William all in the same room :p).

-->A silly one from The Sim Supply and Dr. Gluon, jokingly showing off how to become popular on The Sims 4 Gallery via use of a genuinely pretty neat pose mod for showing off your Sims for upload. Though of course they were using it on Sims like Warden Hardbum (renamed because the gallery wouldn't let James upload someone called HardASS) and a Hot Lady in a hotdog outfit XD
-->A short Kubz Scouts Yandere Simulator video where Jay dedicated himself to beating the new bullet hell minigame contained within Yan-Chan's video game collection -- on both regular AND hard modes (he succeeded!)
-->And the next episode of Atop The Fourth Wall, with Linkara taking on a lousy DC Star Trek comic (dramatic Klingons are dramatic -- and literally self-destructive with no reason to be), and dealing with the sudden appearance of another him in his old outfit who doesn't remember anything about himself except being cold and in pain. Yeeps. (Everyone's guessing as to who he can be -- popular theories seem to be he's either an amnesiac Mechakara, or -- uh -- a regenerated Linkara from. . .Mechakara's fleshy bits, ew)
So that was all fun. :) Now I just have to answer all my inbox stuff, as usual (got the Valice Multiverse queue out of the way), and then it's bedtime. Friday tomorrow, yay~ Though it's a full-day Friday, booo. :( Ah well, I'll survive. Just have to keep looking ahead. . .and figure out when my next best bet for a day off is. Until then, g'night!
