crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
Another day of all sorts of small problems piling up for me to deal with -- everything these days feels like it's distracting from everything else at work. It's quite annoying, honestly. Especially with the looming spectre of roster maintenance hanging over our heads. . . I do what I can, but since I seem to be the go-to girl for questions in the office. . . Well, two more days to soldier through, and then a three-day weekend. November is best month if only for all the time off I get during it.

Afternoon was better -- had a great dinner. Mom made chicken pot pie -- as actual little pies! Or, well, turnovers -- only savory instead of sweet. They were really tasty, and she's said she'll probably make them again. :) And I got the next chapter of "The Technicolor Phase" up with little fuss: Alice Green, the chapter where Alice finally meets Victor and Victoria. Getting into the proper poly bits of this thing. . .and I've just come up with some ideas for a few more shorts that actually show the whole "falling in love" process for the main foursome. Glossed over that a bit in the first draft, mainly because the moment I had an idea for was Alice confessing to Victoria and getting a very enthusiastic response. :p But now I've had some bursts of inspiration about some other key moments. Yay for new ideas!

As for videos, tonight was kind of a Sims night as I decided to catch up on some stuff:

-->A "$10,000 remodel" video by The Sim Supply -- he took a lot in Brindleton Bay and, on a budget of $10,000, remodeled it! The updated house turned out really nice -- he spruced up the colors, added some nice windows, and even crammed another bedroom onto the top floor! I was dutifully impressed.

-->Another episode of "Bread To Riches!" AKA James starts dividing up the next stream he and Dr. Gluon did together. XD Today's adventure was sending Willet to the flea market to try and sell her already-super-expensive bread slices for even MORE money! Unfortunately, selling at the flea market is kind of buggy, and not a lot of people were interested in Willet's massively overpriced bread servings. They did sell three plates, though -- at $84 dollars a pop. Sometimes I really wish real life worked more like Sims. The rest had to go back into the store to be sold for a mere $40-odd a pop. They're also talking more renovations too. I'm looking forward to the next bit when it comes out. :)

-->And an episode of "Sims Comment Logic" by another guy I occasionally watch (I don't trust myself not to misspell his screen name), which is all about recreating goofy comments about Sims in his Sims game. He usually tries to make them even goofier than they were when they were written. XD Good stuff.

So now I'm largely caught up on videos for a change -- got another set of Vampyr from Hells, and the latest Atop the 4th Wall episode, but at least the former I can get to tomorrow. Also good with my VictorLuvsAlice queue for a little while, which is nice. Just gotta take care of the inbox and I'm golden. *nods* Night all!
