crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
Doing the GL, answering the phone (fair number of angry people today, sadly), approving proofs, squeaking in what gifts I could -- again, just chipping away at the backlog every chance I get. My coworkers been tied up writing various letters, and it's just been kinda -- bleh. Very glad to get out of there this Friday. Even gladder to find spinach pies, smoothies, and chocolate chip cookies waiting for me at home. I kinda needed a dinner/dessert like that.

Currently fighting off a round of the tireds (it's been a long week, even though I've been sleeping a bit better than normal lately), so here's the round-up:

-->Did my editing on Chapter 14, so that Galswells gives Victor the Altar Candle before desummoning the rehearsal props, and Victor and Alice muse about what it might be for. They don't use it in their first fight against the Cannery Snarks, but it will come up in the second, which I'm right on top of. Still planning on Victor getting the Quill Bow in this section too.

-->Rare Helloween-less night, so I focused my YouTubery on keeping up with my other subscriptions and cleaning out some of my Watch Later queue:

A) Watched the latest "Fun With Shorts" -- a haircutting short that was -- well, if it was intended as a guide to new hairdressers, it didn't do it's job very well. Exactly ONE haircut shown off, and all the tips were about having "slithery" movements. Which, great if you're a snake hairdresser. . .

B) Watched The Sim Supply do his personal rankings regarding the Stuff, Game, and Expansion packs of The Sims 4 -- his top choices in each were Laundry Day, Parenthood, and Seasons, which I totally agree with. They're all quite solid packs that add a lot of gameplay. I would have ranked Vampires higher than he did, though, if only because I like the supernaturals and he's more indifferent to them (as he says, he played through being a vampire once -- well, twice, Max had to be one too -- had fun, but never felt the urge to return to the life state). But otherwise, pretty solid list.

C) Watched Deli make over one of the NPC Sims from City Living now that said NPC, Miko, was dating one of her own Sims. Came out pretty nice, in my opinion -- new hair color and do, new makeup, and a bunch of fun new outfits. It's fun to see Deli go on about whether or not she dares go with a certain color or pattern combination. :p

D) Watched a couple of top 10s about Bloodborne -- best reactions (topped by someone new to the game having a happy flip-out over finally beating Father Gascione boss), and best trolls (somebody pulled one of my favorite tricks from a old Dark Souls video and dressed up as an NPC to hide from invaders -- they chose, of all people, the Plain Doll. And actually pulled it off! Despite standing on the Doll's corpse. XD I love these games.

-->And got my Valice Multiverse queue sorted, so that's good. A few fun questions tonight, I have to say.

All right -- time to go around answering things from the inbox, then -- well, I guess we'll see. I might head to bed a bit earlier, but it's entirely likely I'll be up half the night reading things on TV Tropes. After 32 years, I KNOW me. *rueful smile* Night all.
