Well, a couple, though one of them is perhaps a mite embarrassing -- lowest-scoring Superbowl ever! Pats won 13-3. No score first quarter, field goal second quarter, field goal for the Rams third quarter, then FINALLY the Pats got a touchdown and another field goal in the fourth quarter. Rams tried for another field goal at the end, but it ended up going wide. I don't pay THAT much attention to sports, but the Superbowl has a habit of sucking me in during the last minutes -- if only because the tension in my house is PALPABLE then. Especially with the way Brady was playing -- not a good game for him. Defense really saved our asses. *deep sigh* I'm just glad it didn't end up lasting until midnight like the overtime Superbowl!

At any rate, most of my day was not about football:

-->Caught up on my OXBox and OXtra lists with open world games that punished you for trying to get to high-level areas early (usually via terrorizing you with insanely powerful enemies who will destroy you in moments); Mario's weirdest jobs (I'd heard of Dr. Mario, but not Pastry Chef Mario -- or WAR VETERAN MARIO. Yes, a thing -- it was a game where a soldier version of Mario had to carry a bomb from one side of a screen to the other without letting his enemies light the fuse so it would explode him and his buddies); and times when realism in games made things less fun, as per the commenters on OXBox (Oregon Trail's love of killing people with dysentery got name-checked, as did Alan Wake's "they don't keep going at all" Energizer batteries for his flashlight -- your main weapon against darkness-infected enemies).

-->Watched The Sim Supply's last members Q&A video (he recently shut off that feature on YouTube as he felt it wasn't given anyone much value for their money); included the surprise revelations that A) The Sim Supply used to be a GROUP channel -- which probably explains the name; and B) said channel is coming up on its 10th anniversary later this month! O.o So Helloween and Linkara had ten-year anniversaries in 2018, now James is having his in 2019. . .seems like all my fave internet reviewers are hitting the 10-year mark lately. Cool.

-->Speaking of Helloween, watched his latest set of Resident Evil 2 REmake as well, and damn was it TENSE. O.O Having Mr. X stalking us all over the place did not do good things for either my nerves or Helloween's, let me tell you. He managed to avoid ever getting maimed by the guy, at least, but there were a few close calls. And some actual zombies got their teeth into poor Claire a couple of times, as Hells is both trying to save ammo and trying not to make massive amounts of noise to keep Mr. X away. But he succeeded in solving quite a few puzzles, opening up a lot of previously-locked doors, and getting his hands on the needed parking garage pass to get out of the police station once and for all!

And then the action switched over to Sherry! Yeah, we actually played as the little kid Claire met earlier, trying to get away from World's Creepiest Police Chief. *shudder* She's locked up in the orphanage he helps fund, and the diaries of the kids there. . . Irons is involved in some fucked-up shit, man. Can we go back to making jokes about monsters with too many eyes?

-->In my own video gaming time, I -- actually finished up BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea Chapter 1! Turns out the "smoking Sally out" mission was the last one. We closed all the vents, got into Toys to turn up the heat, discovered Sally was now a Little Sister (surprising, uh, no one except Booker apparently), fought our only Big Daddy (who can now FIRE HIS DRILL, this is unfair -- on the other hand, there was a handy Motorized Patriot around to take the heat off me while I slammed the damn thing with as many Old Man Winter blasts as I could), and hit the twist, which was:
Cut For Some Creepy Spoilers )

-->And for my writing, I redid the second big Cannery Snark fight for Victor and Alice, with Victor figuring out the purpose of the Altar Candle. Lot of roasted Snark in that fight, om nom. Took a bit to get started, especially since I was working to set up the Quill Bow to be retrieved shortly (the Conglomeration is going to show up again in a second, and Victor's going to get tossed into the appropriate window). I think this chapter might end up significantly longer than it once was, thanks to me adding in weapons and fleshing out fights a bit more. All for the good! I hope, anyway.

All right -- Valice Multiverse queue done, and my Sims 4 pictures for Wednesday are all edited and ready to go for tomorrow night (four-part update, but it IS a wedding). Just gotta answer the comments in my inbox and call it a night. Another week of work to get through. . .fingers crossed tomorrow isn't TOO stressful! Night!
