crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)

I swear, lately the weather report changes as often as you breathe around here. It was sunny this morning, then it got cloudy, then it rained briefly, then they were saying thunderstorms. . . And that's just for today! Tomorrow, the prediction was both 76 F and partly cloudy (on the computer) and 90 F and sunny (on the TV)! I have given up trying to make sense of it all, really.
-TD: We need to invent a weather control machine.-
-RPD: We have one of those, technically. His name is Clockwork.-
*snork* I don't think he'd appreciate that description. Besides, you know his weather control is linked to his moods. He still tends to wake up wet if he has a sad dream.
-RPD: That's still better than what Mother Nature has been throwing at us.-
Hmmm. . . .
In other news, watched "The Princess and the Frog" today, and rather liked it. A fun romp of a movie, in my opinion. The characters were interesting, and the plotline just complicated enough. (Though Tiana did have one moment of dumb near the end. Ray the firefly actually points it out to her, but she ignores him.) And yes, "Friends On The Other Side" is stuck in my head -- well, part of it.
-VD: Part of it?-
I first heard it as part of a CB/NBC mix video, with Oogie-Boogie tempting Victor. So the version I'm hearing has large chunks cut out of it. ^^;
-TTV: Please don't write any stories where I make a deal with the devil.-
-DW: Actually, the plot bunnies are more about you resisting temptation.-
-TTV: Oh, good. That's acceptable.-
See? Not always evil.
-VD2: You still need to do some writing.-
I know. I think I need to do another writing meme to get the juices flowing.
-D: Off to [livejournal.com profile] fandom_memes then?-
Maaaybeee. . . .
