Mall Trip Of Shortness

crossover_chickSince Borders isn't around anymore, I'm down a store I can wander around. (Also down a place to find books. Damn -- I want that next Discworld novel.) So I ended up coming home on an earlier bus than normal. Still had a good time, though:
-->Wandered Newbury -- didn't buy anything, but had fun looking at all the stuff. Though I question the need for a slutty Ghostbuster costume. O.o I'd want as much of me covered as possible when it comes to ectoplasm.
-->Got a personal pizza at the Subway there -- tasty! They have huge pepperoni, though. One pepperoni to a slice, but it practically covered the slice, so. . . .
-->Wandered Dave & Buster's -- had another good run on Guitar Hero, played some rounds of Fruit Ninja (fun game!), and was basically really lucky in collecting tickets today. I've got over 8,000. Should figure out a way to use them up. As it is, I bought myself an el-cheapo yo-yo from their gift shop. I'm actually having a lot of fun playing with it.
-->Got a Patriots car decal at the request of my parents. Dad's a huge fan and wanted one.
-->Got a soft-serve Chocolate Fudge Brownie at Ben & Jerry's before leaving. YUM. Though it makes me a little sad, as soft-serve ice cream may be a thing of the past around here.

Friendly's filed for Chapter 11. The one by my house closed its doors.

Yeah. :( The only other two ice cream places nearby sell only hard ice cream -- and one's closed for the season anyway. I suppose it doesn't matter too much, as we're heading into the winter months where I'm more likely to want warm pastry instead, but still. Limited treat options make a sad Vicky. :(
Anyway, after that, it was basically put some finishing details on my art project and catch up on the web. And discover the red curse has come today. >.< When I was wearing new shorts too, no less. . . . Ah well. Anyway, I'm just waiting for my anti-virus to finish scanning my computer, and then I'm off to bed. Sleep tight, all.
