crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)

Here it is, folks, the last day before Christmas! And we have our final fic!

Victor hadn’t been sure he would be able to get this all-important gift. After all, tracking down someone’s lost (or, more accurately, stolen) childhood toy was sure not to be an easy feat. Especially not when the man who had it had apparently vanished into thin air. He’d agonized for hours on what he could do, people he could ask, leads he could follow. He’d worried and fretted and gotten far less sleep than usual. In short, he’d turned himself into a nervous wreck – a nervous wreck that had had to hide the fact he was a nervous wreck, no less.
As it turned out, fortune had smiled upon him, and getting the gift wasn’t as hard as he had anticipated. It had still had its nerve-wracking moments – what if the police didn’t know anything, what if the woman running the toy drive wouldn’t give it up – but all in all, it had been a rather painless experience. That didn’t stop him from worrying, though. How was he going to present it to her? What if he did something to injure it in the intervening time? What if, heaven forbid, she told him he’d been taken in by a dupe? Up until Christmas, his stomach was tied in knots.
But all of that worry proved to be worth it when he met Alice that morning –
And was able to hand back to her that precious rabbit.

-Jennifers: Awwww.-
Yeah, I wanted to end on a fluffy note. This is a sequel to Day 4's "goodwill" prompt, and reflects the situation going on with my tumblr Victor, Forgotten Vows. He and his Alice, I Only Take Tea With Friends, did a gift exchange, and I decided I really wanted him to be able to give her back her rabbit. So I did a little fic series about him hunting down the toy Radcliffe stole from her. You can see it here: Part I (a crosspost of "goodwill"), Part II, and Part III.
I've got plans for a Part IV that shows just why Radcliffe got rid of it in the works. (Basically, the damn thing is giving him nightmares, but he's too afraid of confronting Alice to give it back to her.)
-M: Nice. How did his Alice react?-
Basically? By breaking down into tears. Poor Forgotten Vows was very "O.O oh God what did I do" for a minute. But it all ended happily. :)
-RPD: Enjoying RPing your OTP over there?-
Yeah. There's plenty of snuggly moments -- and, lately, plenty of mildly-smutty ones. Turns out Alice's mun had the same idea I did about them being the kind of couple who end their arguments via kissing. XD
-VD2: Oh, you two were made for each other.-
hehehe. Anyway, enjoy your sappy fluff. I'll probably crosspost this to Forgotten Vows later too. (Hmm, maybe this piece will be Part IV.)

In other news, been a quiet Christmas Eve. Mostly centered around football -- Patriots managed to win their game, yay. I did watch "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" on YouTube. I've always liked that story. :P Done some LJ tagging, some tumblr RP. Oh, and on devART, I've inspired more Victor/Alice-ish art -- Christmas Crush, by lilittu. Isn't it adorable? She's also done a pair of pics of Victor and Alice in each other's canons -- and let me tell you, Victor looks rather hot in the first one.
-TTV: . . . You do see the blood splatter?-
Yeah. Uh, don't care. ^^;
-TTV: O.o-
-D: Don't think about it too hard, kid.-
*blush* I can't help it -- it's at least partially because of the vest, and partially because, well, you're rather awesome when you're badass.
-TTV: *blush, but still eying a little*-
Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm weird. As it is, I'm gonna go update my Victor Luvs Alice tumblr, and then probably go ahead and play another round of devART's holiday-themed Crashdown-style game. Have a happy Christmas Eve!
