Christmas Part II

crossover_chickYou can add to my haul a $25 gift certificate to a local bookstore from my aunt and uncle. :) I also watched both A Christmas Story (sort of a tradition around here) and the first BTTF on BluRay. Dear LORD the picture. :D I thought the DVD picture was gorgeous, but BluRay was so bright and clear and all the yayz, seriously. I also watched the "Set-Ups and Pay-Offs" -- pretty much everything was stuff I already knew, but I rather liked the snarky tone of some of the comments. :p A question, though, for anyone who has the 25th Anniversary Blu-Ray -- is the Trivia Track included the same as the one we got on earlier DVD editions, or is there new stuff? I'll probably watch it anyway, but I want to know if I should expect any new tidbits.
And before Christmas ends, I realize I ought to show you some pictures of our tree this year! It's a rather unique one, though Moose might recognize the style. . .
It's a book tree! Mom and Dad piled up a bunch of books from our selves and strung lights all over them. The thing at the top is a cheap paperback Mom folded up. Rather cool, right?
Here it is all lit up. Isn't it pretty? Sadly, it'll probably come down tomorrow -- both because Christmas trees don't last long here in general, and because Dad thinks he has an order for a book somewhere inside of it. XD
So yeah, that was my Christmas! I hope you all had a good one, whether you celebrated or not! :)
