How Today Went:

Seriously, it was beautiful -- sunny and a good 50+ degrees. It actually felt like spring might arrive soon! :) And I really liked being able to get out for a walk. What with all the cold weather and snow, I've been missing fresh air. Just the thing after a tough night getting to sleep.
Anyway, today was pretty good -- I'm up to Level 28 in DragonVale, meaning I've got the Large Dark habitat unlocked and thus can start breeding Dark hybrids. Although I'll probably wait until I've caught a couple of these rarer dragons on offer. Still no luck with the Carnival, and my attempt at a Sandstorm is instead giving me a River. *shrugs* What can you do? I did hatch my Jet today, with a little help from Kairos -- and it came with the name Spike. XD I thought that too great and kept it. I also got the goal for it, despite that disappearing from the list, so yay! He's living in the little cave on the island for now. Gutknecht won me a Gold in the Cold Colosseum event too, and I've got Barry competing in the Lightning. Yay gems!
I also worked on my website a bit today -- revamped the Secundus Verse and Forgotten Vows Verse sections a tad. I'll be doing more tomorrow, so I'll put up links then. Add to that editing on Chapter 10 of "There's Always Tomorrow" and I had a pretty productive day. Even got in RPing, which is nice -- I threw Forgotten into a beach meme, and I'm making plans as to how the next part of the wedding plot should go. . .
Right now, though, I ought to go wrap things up on tumblr, because the one bad thing about tonight is going to bed another hour early. Although with the whole "spring forward" thing tonight, it's going to look like I went to bed at eleven anyway. . . *shrug* Ah well. Gotta get used to it. G'night and sleep tight, everyone!

Still failing at...well, everything. I did get a 12-hour so maybe, just maybe, it's a Carnival this time. I'll find out in 10 hours and 39 minutes. Trying for a Sandstorm also netted me a Wind, which I have.

At least you're not getting a constant stream of Peppers! The LEAST these pairings could do if they fail is to give me the Forest I want! *grumble*
EDIT: Turns out they listen! Anna and Geo are giving me a Forest. :D
