And RIpta a bit too. Yes, I ended up coming home late AGAIN. What happened this time wasn't a bus breakdown -- it was a sudden rash of intense traffic on the road. (I think it might have been either an accident or rubbernecking for ANOTHER accident, as we passed one once I was actually on my way home.) The driver got off the highway to try and get us to Kennedy Plaza, but I swear the route she chose was just as clogged as the one we left! Not to mention that right near the end she turned and went up the road near Providence Place instead of continuing straight, which I'm pretty certain would have gotten us to Kennedy Plaza faster! As it was, I missed my regular bus by TWO FREAKING MINUTES. To say I was pissed is an understatement. I've been p-o-ed all afternoon thanks to this. God fucking damnit. . .

I suppose I can't complain too much. I'm still doing well in my Office Skills Class -- English was a snap today. I got another good chunk of writing done on "In The Land of the Dead" -- been rearranging a lot of stuff in there. I'm almost all caught up on tags -- tumblr is being mercifully quiet at the moment. And while I'm still not getting any Sprouts in DragonVale, at least the flood of River dragons has let up.

We've also gotten a new update in that game -- the Dragonarium, which basically functions as an in-game list of dragons you have and dragons you need. It's a little building that sits in the middle of your park and upgrades itself as you collect stars, which you get for snagging dragons. I'm already pretty well along, though I need to fill in a few categories (notably Dark and Apocalypse). There's also five new dragons to breed, though fortunately these are not limited hybrids. And on the limited side, I read on the Wiki that the Sprout is a result of something Backflip calls "April Showers bring May Flowers," so I'm guessing I have the rest of the month to breed them. I hope, anyway, because they're proving to be a REALLY tough nut to crack. I upgraded the Breeding Cave, so we'll see if that helps any.

Anyway -- I should go tend to whatever tags I have left, and then maybe take a moment to watch some more funny Hearthstone videos or something. G'night all.

Well the Dragonarium has already proven useful to me. In an attempt at a Mirage I got a Root. I was like:
Me: A Root? Hey, Dragonarium, do I have a Root?
Dragonarium: Nope, you do not.
Me: I do not...well, okay then.

I did break down and spend the 15mil to get the Large Dark Habitat even though I do have room on my Earth/Metal Island but as I get more Dark hybrids that can't go anywhere else I'll need it. Money's easy enough to make nowadays.

I did also finally sucessfully breed a Heat Dragon which will live with my Frostfire, Blue Fire, and Ember until I start moving things around (when's that? dunno...).

You know, now that we have the Dragonarium I guess I don't need my spreadsheet anymore. That kind of makes me a little sad...I may keep at it just out of habit.

And it just occurs to me that I didn't mention the Colosseum yesterday. Momoka had won a Silver and I threw Crusty (my Arbor) into Plant. He won a Gold and I put Mari (my Salamander) into Fire.

My Sprout will hatch tonight and I'll have the Root and Heat by tomorrow morning. When the Heat's done I'll try for the Nectar since that's next on my Featured Goals list. I'll still go for the Mirage when the Root is done.

Since I bought the Large Dark and two sets of Bean Stalks to level up the new dragons my DC is lower now at 231,884,775. Gems is 597. I might just upgrade the EBI and the BC later when they're done. That would leave me with 197. And then I could upgrade the Gemstone Island as I need the space (and first would be the top because I want to put the Pearl there next month) and have the gems to do so.

And, uh...yeah I think that's about it. :)

Edit: And speaking of Dark hybrids I bred a Cave Dragon without realizing it, lol. Thank you new feature that puts a number with the dragon's picture as you go to hatch/sell/dispay the egg. :p Came with the name Chubbs and I was gonna keep it but I looked up the dragon on the Wiki and so I named it Damon, which is the genus of the whip spiders that the Cave Dragon takes its appearance.

Ahhh, cool! Glad to see that's already proving its use. I'll be keeping my own list at the moment, simply because it's useful to have a list of names as well as dragons for me (trying to avoid any repeats). But it is nice to have something in-game to quickly check regarding dragons you still need.

I still need to start my own breeding of Dark and Dark hybrids. Congrats on your Root and Cave! Damon, aw, cute. :) And on your Heat too -- building up quite the collection! I'm still failing on Sprouts, although my breeders have at least kindly moved into giving me Light hybrid fails instead of constant Rivers. Both my breeding areas are upgraded, so for me it's just a matter of new habitats. (I think I'm well-set with my gemstone dragons at the moment.)

Victoria I believe won me a Silver in the Colosseum, and Spring got me a Gold. I've got Lavawing in the Fire event. DC is 278,446,277 and gems are 211.

Oh, I hope you manage a Sprout. It's adorable. And it doesn't really grow out of the baby stage...it multiplies. One for baby, two for adolescent and three for adult. They're like a circus act. One (or two) acts as a springboard for the remaining one so it can jump up and breathe its elemental breath. It's so cute!

Edit: Derp...it came with the name Ritu. :)
