Not only have Dash and Tidepool kindly decided to finally go ahead and give me the Sprout, Diver and Geo decided that their last fail should be one of the new hybrids Backflip released recently -- the Nectar! :D It'll be hatching around my bedtime, so you'll have to wait a day for news on the name. The Sprout will enter the nursery around 5 or so tomorrow, so I'll have it all hatched sometime on Sunday. :D I will also be starting Dark dragons this weekend, as I want to fill out that category already. And I'll be endeavoring to make my islands look a little better -- I can actually get the Eighth one now if I wanted, but I'm trying to build up more of a buffer for clearing the obstacles. At least money isn't that hard to come by these days.

Today was surprisingly nice for a day that was predicted to be rainy. It certainly was cloudy most of the day, but it was also really warm. And it was nice out long enough for me to get home from the bus stop, so that was good. Currently raining now, but I have no objections to it raining overnight. Ahhh, 69 F weather, how I have missed you. May, you are so much better than April.

I also finally got a chance to play some Hearthstone today -- two wins with Malfurion the Druid, fulfilling one of the Daily Quests and unlocking all of his basic cards. This weekend I'll be going back to the practice arena to start leveling up some of my other characters -- think I'll do the Priest, Anduin, next. Funny, though -- one of my opponents accidentally used a "deal damage" card on HIMSELF when he could have taken out one of my big hitters in the game, allowing me to get lethal on him. Gotta be careful with those cards/abilities! (I've discovered to my detriment that Valeera's hero dagger overrides poisoned ones, for example.)

Anyway, I should probably go ahead and get whatever remaining tags I have cleared -- g'night all! :)

And well whaddaya know...I got a Nectar too. :D

Damon won a Gold and I threw Smelt (my Steel) into Metal.

No Mirage yet but the Plasma will hatch this afternoon (used Kairos to speed it up). Next in the Featured Goals is a Dungeon. The Sandbox I use states that Frostfire + Ruin is a combo that can be used (and not worry about [Double] Rainbows...) so once the Nectar is out of the EBC I'll pair Milton with Bane and work on that. That combo can also give a Watch and a Crypt, neither of which I have yet so I'll welcome the fails that aren't more Ruins, lol.

I may take another page in my spreadsheet and sort my dragons by primary element (as shown on the globe or as listed first in the descriptions) for later organizations, then maybe another page to sort out Islands later on. Maybe with that I'll even add the dragons I don't have so I'll eventually know who will go where. Speaking of that orb, it's too bad that the level 20 crown is just gold. They should've made it the color of the primary element. Though I don't plan on getting my dragons to 20 just yet. That can be done after I catch 'em all and can thus spend ALL THE MONIES on making Bean Stalks, lol.

At any rate, DC is 254,267,908 and gems is 225.

Edit: OH HOLY HELL DRAGONVALE!!! They released EVERY GODDAMN GEMSTONE DRAGON available to breed or buy until Sunday! NO GODDAMN WAY! You know what...screw the Jade. I'm going to try for a Pearl!!!

Edit x2: Plasma came with my Pepper's name of Scales. I changed it to Neon. I'll be trying for both the Pearl and Ruby (for the guy at work who wants his Gemstone to live by itself, lol) as my breeding areas get emptied. Also, I think I got a girl here at work into the game. I was telling her about it and showing her and she told me she was interested and was going to try it when she got home, lol.

Interesting. . .I'll probably just breed my Dark dragon -- who hatched this afternoon, name Jabber XD -- with the other primaries to get my hybrids. I find it's easiest. And I agree with you -- if the orbs are different colors, the crowns should be too! Maybe we can petition Backflip to change it. . . Though yeah, not going to be an issue for a while for me either. I just feed them up when I need them to breed.

LOL, yes, we probably are with all our dedicated list-making. And reports on gem and dragoncash count -- DC is 304,367,476 and gems are 205, btw.

And WTF?! I mean, I know it's true, I saw the thing, but WHY?? Just out of the goodness of their hearts? I'm gonna see if I can get a Garnet, since that was the one I missed when I first got the game -- didn't have a Smoke to go with my Obsidian. I should probably also try for December's Gemstone dragon too. . .basically any gemstone dragon that I'd normally have to wait a while for.

Neon is a good name for a Plasma. XD Good luck with the Pearl and Ruby! And LOL, yes, convert more people to the fold. . .

My Nectar came with my Pepper's name of Scales, so I named it Ambrosia. :p

Also, the Seaweed + Snow for the Pearl could result in an Orchid, so maybe I'll get lucky either way.

On that same note, Chrome + Scorch for the Ruby might net me a Sulfer, Electrum or a Gold.

Unfortunately, they both have [Double] Rainbows as a possibility, too, which sucks a little. Having only a limited time and a potential 2-day fail.

Ooooh, yes. So that'll be cool. *nods* I've got my Swamp and Poison together to try for the Turquoise.

Oooo, yeeps. . .still, if I get that, I can't be too annoyed -- I do need another Rainbow dragon. Though that depends on the pairings I throw together. I've already decided to concentrate on Garnet and Turquoise for the moment, and neither of those are Rainbow fails.

I can just see the later chapter of my fic. "AL eagerly ran to greet the newborn Nectar, but frowned when she saw the given name. Neon noticed and growled his confusion.

'No, nothing's wrong,' she insisted. 'She came with the name River...' Trying and failing to hide the twitch in her eye, she tried to justify the fact that she needed to change that name...NOW. 'See, we have a River Dragon...and...there might be confusion. Like when -insert name since I can't remember- came with the name Shimmer and I confused that with Luster the Shimmer Dragon.' Seriously hoping that the Plasma would buy it, she quietly changed the name to Ambrosia.

'Isn't the River Ambrosia mentioned somewhere?' Neon wanted to know.
