Sore Throat, Go Away

crossover_chickI seem to have picked up a minor cold, the primary symptom of which is a sore throat. Though we seem to be moving into stuffed nose territory now. . . It's been annoying me all day and pretty much destroyed most of my desire to do stuff. I've been more or less hanging out on TV Tropes all day, with some breaks for DragonVale and Hearthstone. Reports for those:
-->Pleased to say that I will be getting one out-of-season gemstone dragon at the least -- the Garnet, the January gemstone I missed. Stane and Bryllyg are making it right now. Glados and Errol are still working on a Turquoise -- we'll see if I manage to sneak it in at the last minute. I also hatched my Sprout, Clonus, whom is now living in the Large Seasonal habitat with Imbolc and Daenerys. (Which, uh, I forgot to build until one half-hour before the egg hatched. Hooray for the Hibernation Cave!) I'll probably be summoning in the Eighth Island sometime this upcoming week.
-->Won one, lost one with Anduin -- and again, my loss was to another Priest. My main goal is really just to level him up so I can unlock all of his basic cards, so I'm not too fussed. I'll probably make him a custom deck once he's at ten.
And that's it, as again, I was extremely lazy today thanks to minor illness. Fortunately I have had a bit of a tagsplosion in the last few hours. . .time to continue the streak here on Dreamwidth. Later!

Date: 2014-05-19 01:45 pm (UTC)The Turquoise is still being incubated; it'll be done in 10 hours and then I'll have to wait another 31 for it to hatch. I can use Kairos tomorrow so he'll help on that front. It will live on the left side of the GI with Pablo and Chuck (though it looks like a swimmer...ah well a pond appears there once it's fully upgraded).
I'm ashamed to say I was using gems to speed things up trying to get a Ruby and I still failed. Last try will be a Double Rainbow and I just can't bring myself to use 48 gems at once (plus at least another 7 to get an egg out of my full Nursery). They couldn't even grace me with a Sulfer.
My Nursery is full with two Smokes, a Forge and a Blazing so at least those eggs will be ready to sell by the time the Turquoise is ready to come out. I just...I can't bring myself to use anymore of my gems.
Blinky is still in the Colosseum so I'll have to come back/edit later this afternoon. Edit: He won a Silver. Threw Neon into Lightning.
DC is 207,954,200 and gems is...*sigh* 124. I suppose between my Gemstone Dragons and whatever I get from friends and whatever gets won in the Colosseum I'll have them stockpiled again eventually. Hopefully no limiteds share breeding times with nonlimiteds for a while.
I think once the Turquoise is out I'll try for the Jade again. At least those fails sell semi-decently (from like 100,000 to 800,000). And also at least now having a Pearl that's one less I'll have to try for next month. :) Maybe once that Double Rainbow is out of my EBC I'll profit breed for a while. I'll need to save for the Eighth Island since I hit level 34 over the weekend and I want a lot saved by the time I get to 35 to both get and clear the thing.
Yeah, I think that's it.

Aww, that sucks. :( *patpat* Well, at least you got a couple of out-of-seasoners. And I understand -- gems are a precious commodity! At least the Double Rainbow will sell well?
Elsa also got a Silver -- Doc's in Lightning.
DC for me is 317,164,070, and gems are 223. With your extra gemstone dragons you'll be back up in no time. :) And yeah, I hear you. It's nice when you can know right away what you're getting.
Sounds like a plan. I'm still saving for my Eighth Island, though I'm a good chunk of the way there. Maybe when I hit about 350,000,000 I'll go ahead and summon it. Having lots of epics means the money is just rolling in. :P
