I am so sick of having this cold, I swear. I want it to clear up already! Much like I want the weather to clear up already! Or at least stop yanking our chains about whether it's going to be sunny or rainy. Hmph.

Thanks to not feeling quite so hot when I first got up this morning, I haven't done much of anything productive. Though the second chapter of my "Forgetting You" makeover should be ready to go up soon. And I did finally watch the season finale of MLP:FiM. And I gotta say -- for as much as I've been very "meh" about this season, the finale was pretty damn awesome. Particularly the second part, with the fight sequence. Woooooo, powaaaah~

However, the girls' new Rainbow Power looks? OMG are they TACKY XD XD XD 80s hair is on full display with most of them, and they're just a mess of highlights and lowlights and woooow. On the other hand, given that the villain is the guy from the first iteration of MLP, which started in the 80s, perhaps this makes sense? I dunno -- I know it's really all just to sell toys. I just thought it was goofy to the extreme.


DragonVale updates: The forest of Huge Trees on my Eight Island should be ready to clear by tomorrow, which will just leave the Boulder Piles to deal with. I'm also nearing Level 36. Not much else to report beyond another Dark/Water hybrid in the nursery and me attempting a Plasma with Doc and various Water hybrids.

Hearthstone updates: Lost my final match in the arena, and left with a pack of cards and 35 gold. (At least it being my first time I didn't have to pay the entrance fee.) I did win twice normally in Play mode -- once as Valeera, and once as Anduin (with his new Snark deck no less) -- though in Valeera's fight, she won largely because her opponent stopped issuing commands. Connection issues, perhaps? Makes me feel a little bad. (On the other hand, if Malfurion's player just got up and went somewhere, well, that's your idiocy dude.)

And now we're having supper, which means I will shower afterward and then make an attempt to catch up on tags. *braces self, because she suspects she has a lot* Enjoy your evening, everyone!

I really need to re-watch the finale. With Antoinette running away going "I'm scared!" every five minutes, I couldn't concentrate on it.

Anyways, Geoff won a Gold and I threw Wispy (Pollen) into Air. Again I forgot about them so now it's almost 9:00 that the Colosseum will be done.

Failing at everything I'm trying for.

LOL -- though I can't blame her. That shit had to be scary to someone her age, poor thing.

Flint got a Gold, Shower's competing in Air. Mine's been moved down to just past six o'clock. Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping. . .

Bleh. I'm still working on Dark hybrids and the Plasma. Using Doc and Mercury -- which seems to have a chance of the Cyclops and both the Electrum and Platinum, so I think I'll stick with them for a while. XD

So here's what I've figured out. Currently...

Plant/Earth hybrids have the most with six.
Fire/Plant and Cold/Earth hybrids have four.
Air/Fire, Air/Plant, Cold/Plant, Dark/Lightning, Fire/Metal and Light/Water have three.
All other combos that aren't opposites or have more than two elements per have two.

Paper, Terradiem, Gift, Panlong all have opposite elements within them.

I was told that Cotton, Ash, Cactus and Plant are the highest earners. Cotton is Plant/Fire/Earth/Lightning, so maybe Plant/Lightning should be an Island.

What I think I'm going to do...switch Lightning and Water on that chart and leave Light and Dark on their own Islands. I'll see if I can rearrange things so that more Habitats will go on the Islands to allow for more hybrids.

Of course, I want the Eighth Island before I start moving things around. I'm only like 3/4 of the way there.

And here I say I want to fic and yet I'm figure out DragonVale stuff. :/

What on earth is with their obsession with Plant/Earth hybrids? I mean seriously -- six?! O.o I'd rather have more hybrids from the better-selling elements, kthanx.

*nods* All right then. And Ash is one of the highest earners? Really? Yeah, that makes me want to do a Plant/Lightning island too. (Hell, that's how I had it set up originally!) Maybe I'll mess around with that later myself.

Mine's almost clear -- still just have to wait a while for those boulder piles. But I've already made a start of things -- I've put my Storage Tower and Hibernation Cave on it, along with my two Cold/Fire dragons. It's gonna be my Opposites island. I also went ahead and got another Giant Water habitat, and I might get another Giant Plant Habitat before the day's up.

Heh, I know the feeling. I'll try to commit to writing, but then something else will insist on having my attention. . .

I asked on the DV Facebook how others have their Boosts set up and that's what I got told. I put the Earning Rates from the Wiki into Excel and sorted them largest to smallest and yeah. If you don't count opposites, that's about right.

Opposites and epics -- I'm pretty sure the Rainbow Dragons are the ultimate earners. Still, it gives a good reason to swap the Lightning and Water habitats on my islands.
