Weird Weather Continues
Jul. 2nd, 2012 11:36 pmAs in, we keep having itty-bitty thunderstorms blowing over. Bleh. *pokes them* We're also expected to get some on the 4th -- Nature's fireworks, I suppose.
Not too much else to report on -- Mom and I got Dad's birthday present this morning. To save money we're doing e-cards instead of paper ones. We also watched an MST3K together, Night of the Blood Beast. Weirdly enough, although it was a 7th-season episode I hadn't seen before, turns out I'd seen large chunks of it. The short before the main feature was one I'd watched dozens of times on my old "Shorts" tape, and I'd seen a lot of the best moments from the episode on one of those "best of" compilations on YouTube. The movie itself was one of those schlocky 50s snorefests. Though it was pretty interesting to see a glimpse of pre-SciFi-era Pearl Forrester.
