Today was pretty much gloomy as hell -- the weather's gone straight downhill with the end of August. It's quite depressing. And I bet it's going to result in a lot of angry/frustrated tourists this Labor Day weekend. This is basically the last hurrah for the beaches, and. . .well. . . I personally am missing my walking. I need my exercise!

Still, can't say the day was a total waste. While I didn't get anything more done on Chapter 15, I was able to get a good chunk done on my darker take/sequel thing to "Snow White." With the possibility of me taking the Publishing An e-Book class at some point, I figure I should have some stuff that could possibly go in an e-book ready. Dad pointed out that's not something that can likely pay all the bills, but hey -- it might be a good sideline that'll bring in a little extra cash every so often. And it'll mean I can say that I've been published in some format. (I'd do the class about optimizing the job search and suchlike first, though. Something that can pay the bills has got to take precedence right now.)

I also played Sims 2 -- I've been surprisingly active in Restful Springs lately. Maybe because it has just two households that each features half of my OTP. I've decided Alice is coming over to Houndsditch on a date on their Saturday, so that's nice. They're both doing pretty well overall, though Alice seems unable to keep out of green aspiration for long. She's near to maxing out her Creativity, though, which is a big want for her, so hopefully she'll be in the White sooner rather than later. Her date with Victor is also a chance to meet some of his housemates and maybe start on making friends with one or two, since she needs them to progress further in her job. We're getting close to getting her out of that asylum, at least! Oooooh so very close. . .

Right now, however, I've got other things to attend to, so -- later!
