Wiped. Just wiped.
Jan. 17th, 2014 11:42 pmWhat was intended to be a quick morning trip to get me some work-appropriate clothes (since I didn't have many) somehow morphed into an all-day cleaning project for my room. While I'm glad of the chance to get rid of some books I never read anymore (more room on my shelves for Pratchett), I basically missed out on the ENTIRE DAY on the computer -- not helped by the fact I ended up housesitting tonight. Add to that that I've got my period, and. . .yeah. Had to extend my tumblr hiatus for a day, and right now I'm feeling just tired and cranky and generally "guh."
One nice thing happened today, though -- in DragonVale, I FINALLY GOT MY PEPPER. Victor/Stane provided little Anna (to go with my Cold dragon Elsa). I also did a few proper races -- got first place and some decent cash prizes in two, third and a few treats in one. It's an interesting change of pace from the regular game, so I can't complain. I've also got some new habitats building on my Elemental Sports Island (which has the Colosseum, the Dragon Track, and habitats for the four classical elements. My Air habitat is all set, and I'm currently building Fire and Earth. Water will follow with the removal of a boulder that's in the way). I need to rejigger the other two, but that can wait until morning. Right now, I suppose I should catch up on the other shit I've missed. (At least I've got drafts saved for all the responses I have to do on both tumblrs, and no major threads going on Dreamwidth. Also very glad I did declare that hiatus, because I would have been a stressed-out wreck this week otherwise.)
