Bit of a Long Work Day
Feb. 12th, 2016 10:39 pmBuuuut I finally finished off a list of alumni for a certain school that I've been working on, so yay for that. Now, of course, I gotta do it all over again for a DIFFERENT school, but I think less steps will be involved with this one. I hope so, anyway. And hey, I learned about stock gifts, so that was new and different.
Wrapped up Chapter 5 of "Remembering You" today -- into uncharted waters now! I couldn't think of a good way to start Chapter 6 at the moment, so instead I wrote up a quick summary of what I want to happen in the chapter. It's already sparked some ideas -- including doing what was going to be an Alice POV section from Victor's instead. I'm trying to gradually reintroduce his view into the story -- kind of like how I increased Alice's POV sections near the end of "Forgetting You" and switched to just her after Victor got Thirteened. And I think it'll add an interesting dimension to the chapter, especially since it's a fight with Victoria over how much influence she really had in his pre-amnesia life.
Backflip are being jerks by not having a final Double Weekend for Valentine's -- hell, they've even got their usual "limited and way more expensive" dragon out in force. To add insult to injury, at least in my case, it's an UGLY limited dragon. Meh. Just do what I can, I suppose.
Oh, and I finally got the rest of my BTTF comics! I haven't given them a proper read yet, but they look like fun little romps. Although I really wish they'd gotten a different artist for the "how Marty met Jennifer" story in #4 -- he's AWFUL. >.< How Marty and Doc met is pretty damn hilarious, though -- I'll give you a full report later. It's supposed to be an ultra-cold weekend (wind chill warnings!), so I'm going to have nothing better to do than stay inside, play games, and read comics.
And do RP replies, which I really should get to now. . .night all!
