And now for your regularly-scheduled Update Form:

Work – Less-hectic day than yesterday, thankfully – there was some sense of urgency due to it being the end of our fiscal year, meaning anything that came in today had to be processed today, but I wasn’t having to send weird stuff out in the mail most of the morning or anything like that. I worked on exceptions, I took a couple of calls, stuff like that. Tomorrow will probably be busy, though – one of my coworkers is out, so I’m gonna have to be handling most of the stuff she usually does. Hopefully it isn’t too bad!

Beanbags – Again, no – heat index this afternoon when I got out was 106F! And tomorrow’s supposed to be humid and on the rainy side, sooo. . .I mean, we’ll see how it all shakes out!

To-Do List –

1. Get in a workout: Check! Another thirty on the bike, another chunk of Helloween’s Untitled Goose Game stream. He’s gotten through the High Street and into the Back Gardens, and is starting to get the hang of the game. Now it’s reminding me a bit more of his old LPs as he settles in. :) Less frustration with him “not getting” things, that’s for sure! Happy enough to watch him continue his asshole goose ways as I pedal my way to calorie burn. XD

2. Edit some more on “Londerland Bloodlines”: Check, though I only got a few paragraphs in instead of my preferred page – reason being, we had a massive thunderstorm blow through when I started the edits, and I ended up having my computer off for about an hour waiting for it to pass. At least I got SOMETHING done! And I got Gigs’s birthday fic posted, which counts for something too. :)

3. Keep up with YouTube Subscriptions: Two-thirds check – again, blame the thunderstorm for keeping me offline and thus not giving me enough time to get in all three videos. On the cusp of a long weekend, though, so I’m not over-worried.

A) Started with James Turner and another episode of “Rags To Redecoration!” After another off-screen break to play more with the 3 Brothers (I assume this is when he did the end of that LP? He mentioned the big house reno for them was coming up), he returned to Hazel to get her an interesting Bigwallet gig – a nursery addition! Turns out it was for Column and Plan Tayne Bigwallet, the pair from the Realm of Magic LP, finally getting a room made for Column’s son Reginald! (Yes, still an infant – James’s played Sims don’t age in this world.) And ooooh boy – apparently James STARTED renovating their house, but never FINISHED, meaning that most of it is empty goofy-looking shell. Hell, he had to slap on free build at the end of the renovation to remove a fence that was blocking access to the inside of the house (Hazel talked to her clients out in the money tree greenhouse). Plus, being an addition, the game INSISTED that Hazel add to the exterior walls instead of trying to build something INSIDE. Fortunately, James found a way around that one by joining the main house to one of the turrets and turning the resultant room into the nursery. Column apparently likes blue and Suburban Contemporary furniture, so James leaned hard into that when painting and decorating – the big reveal glitched out, sadly, but Hazel got paid and a reputation boost, sooo. . . She used the money to fund some new paint in her own home, and the start of a basement level (not that she can reach it – she used up all her money building the basement and couldn’t afford stairs), then took a renovation for the Goths while James hopes for more gigs in Column’s home so he can, you know, actually FIX THE BUILD. XD I have already petitioned in the comments for poor Reginald to grow up and escape into the eventual Cottage Living LP.

B) Then it was time for GrayStillPlays tortures Minecraft! Gray has already ripped the organs out of various animals and monsters around the spawn before – now it’s time to rip out their bones! Though, to keep things fair, Gray has also made it so his bones (both his own and borrowed) can break, so. . . The episode was pretty damn chaotic, as you might expect. From getting super-speed and incredible jumps from bunnies, to dying via skeleton snapping to a bunch of creepers and skeletons, to getting a squid pooping out fresh loot (and TNT) with a super sapling, to learning how to poop out TNT himself getting some creeper bones on his revenge tour, to eventually grabbing Endermen bones to teleport around The End and murder the Ender Dragon with his creeper TNT. . .yeah. Gray knows how to make Minecraft an experience. XD

4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: N/A, beyond resetting the queue schedule back to “one” for the next couple of days. Good thing too, considering the lost time today (not only from the thunderstorm, but from looking at cars and car dealerships online with Mom before my workout).

So yes, not my best Wednesday -- though I blame that not only on the weather, but on the fact that I'm PMSing. Like, REALLY PMSing, it's annoying. >( Just gotta watch myself for when the blood starts flowing. . .

Anyway. Time to finish up with tumblr tags and DW comments and head to bed. Gotta get through Thursday before any time off happens! Night all!
