crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
Bit on the chilly side, and of course I hate driving, but other than that. . .can't really complain:

Work – Quiet day, fortunately – had a couple of calls, a bit of an issue with a refund, but other than that, most of the day was either doing the GL or cleaning up obituaries. Fine by me – that’s a good note to end a week on!

To-Do List

1. Get in a workout: Check – another night on the bike, with the conclusion to the Oxventure “Bad Chair Day!” Having opened up “The Silvery Trout” as “John Pubman” and company, the group was fortunate enough to get an immediate visit from – well, the way Johnny described him, the Merchant from Resident Evil 4. XD Guy had a drink (Corazon gave him a pint of wine), then started talking business, saying he could get them some nice chairs for cheap. Dob interpreted this as “give man all of our money” as a down payment, which the guy happily took, and Corazon just barely restrained himself from strangling Dob (Andy actually got up out of his chair to do the ‘you broke my heart’ Mafia hug to Luke XD). Anyway, an agreement was made where they’d go to pick up the chairs at Warehouse 8 (back on the docks) at three in the morning. The guy left, and the gang followed him to the warehouse and started scoping the place out. Pretty average warehouse by most standards, with two guards up top – but Prudence (FINALLY getting some decent dice rolls) managed to twig on that there was a LOT of warding spells inside, designed to keep evil restrained – ALL the bad juju in there. She warned the others, and the gang decided that Corazon should keep the appointment of “John Pubman,” while the others snuck up the medieval equivalent of a fire escape and in a window, onto the upper catwalk. Corazon kept the merchant talking while Dob managed to fire a Sleep spell that got both guards, then knocked the merchant out with unnecessary force. XD

And Egbert then looked at the warehouse full of snarling, gnarling chairs surrounded by complicated wards and immediately went “time to bomb the place!” XD Prudence managed to get a close enough look to determine the wood was from the dark heart of some forest, and Johnny dropped some hints it might be related to M. Channail’s previous logging operation. . . But there was no time to really worry about it, as Egbert was already winding up the bomb. Dob dumped the unconscious guards in the water outside the warehouse (reasoning they’d wake up when they hit the water), and Merilwen FINALLY stopped being a cat after jumping out the window ahead of the blast – only to turn into a bear instead. XD Egbert loosed his bomb, which exploded the entire warehouse – fortunately, the gang survived (as did the merchant, which everybody almost forgot about). And then, who should come running up but none other than Dunnikin! Who’d expected them to be dead – and as it was too late to have a proper boss battle with him, he decided to just fess up. Especially when Prudence, on fire from Egbert’s bomb (don’t worry, she’s a tiefling, thus fireproof), grabbed him by the throat. Turns out this was just a way to force all his competitors out of business – Dunnikin was using the evil wood to get people to associate the traditional Fairwind style with murder and death, so that they’d stop buying from people like the Darosas and buy his more modern style. He too was dumped into the water after professing to know nothing about M. Channail. XD So, end game of the adventure is they’ve lost all their money thanks to Dob, and they’ve dumped a good portion of the citizenry of Fairwind into the sea. OUR HEROES! XD

2. Keep editing gift fics: Check – edited my friend Squid’s tonight, a story detailing a moment after Nines proposed to their Fledgling character Arianna. Namely, Alice, who’s friends with Arianna, asking how it went down, and Arianna telling her it was a bit random, instead of the big romantic spectacle he’d had planned. XD It’s just a short and sweet thing about valuing the small moments in a romantic relationship, which I think they’ll like. :)

3. Keep up with YouTube Subscriptions: Check – three in, three out today, with one short bonus –

A) Started with the weekly Fun With Shorts – “The Shoplifter,” Part 2! More of Josh riffing on a goofy educational film for stores about shoplifters and how to spot their techniques. Like straight up shoveling merchandise into their partner’s underwear. XD Like, seriously?? And they really seem to have an obsession with female shoplifters keeping stuff between their legs. Josh was appropriately sarcastic about it all (and horrified during the aforementioned underwear shoveling).

B) And then it was over to Call Me Kevin, for – oh no. Oh noooooo. Do you know what he did?

He played a session of GTA V with both the Chaos Mod AND the Randomizer Mod.

Yeaaaah, as you might imagine, this was – kind of weird. XD Not only did you have completely random dialogue and models (Franklin actually became a PANTHER for a little while), along with planes and trains and whatnot on the road, you ALSO had the random firing of the Chaos Mod, turning Michael into a traffic magnet, spawning Griefer Jesus (who rather appropriately ended up with Trevor’s model), and making all the traffic spin like beyblades. Kevin deliberately chose some of the less-violent missions to attempt to complete, and only managed the ones he did because a) they didn’t have many steps (like Michael (using his wife’s model, I believe) running over some dudes who, thanks to randomization on two levels, ran into a wall on their way out anyway), or b) the game decided briefly to be nice and teleport Kevin to a waypoint (Michael bringing his family to therapy with him and actually getting teleported to the office after everyone got in the car! Mind you, his old-man wife and son-psychiatrist both ended up super-bloody during the session, sooo. . .) It was weird and wacky and extremely hard to follow and fantastic. Especially with the goofy death screen messages. XD Ahhh, fun. . .

C) And finally we had GrayStillPlays, with some more GTA V madness of his own – another challenge board where he ended up with a zombie girlfriend! The framing story was him helping out “Branis” look for a serial killer that was cracking open people’s heads and eating their brains – and interestingly, four of them were her previous boyfriends. . .anyway, she kept trying to lure him into crashing his rust-bucket bike, making comments about how his head smelled good and she could give him a head massage, tried to chase down poor Meaty Bits with a knife (but Meaty proved to be WAAAY too fast for her to catch), and then COOKED SPLEENS. No, not the body part, THE CAT – Gray’s Sims 4 cat! D: I was rather surprised to see Gray side with her when the police came after her, but – well, the guy can’t resist a good chase sequence with a compact missile launcher. XD Though he did make sure to explode her at the end of the video, which was good. XD

D) And a tiny end-of-day bonus with a clip of Kevin reacting to the “Anna introducing Kevin as her boyfriend, and Dan as Kevin’s boyfriend” meme (he was amused). XD

4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: Check – two ask replies over on Valice Multiverse, AND I got the very beginnings of a new Thursday draft on Victor Luvs Alice sorted, based on some Fallout of Darkness shitposting I have going on in my head XD It’s something!

So that's all nice, isn't it? :) And I am still doing friend stuff on tumblr and the like, so let me slap up the to-do list for tomorrow and get back to that:

1. Clean my room

2. Keep up with YouTube Subs and watch the Plumbella video in the Watch Later

3. Play either Bloodlines and go fight the Sabbat, or Sims 4 and do some more Chill Save stuff

4. Continue editing gift fics

Yeah, I think that's good for a cleaning Saturday. All right, back to the good fight -- night all!
