Wrapping It Up
Oct. 27th, 2010 10:04 pmWhile the other days in October were really all about beginnings, the 27th is all about endings. The last trip in the DeLorean, the last timeline we see, the last changing of the timeline we see, the last date in the last movie. October 27th is a date for conclusions.
-VD2: Until six months later, when apparently the new video game starts up.-
LOL, yes. That would be in May of 1986, I believe.
-OD: And who knows what time period the card game takes place in.-
Well, we get a rough idea that Marty McFly III, at least, is the grandchild of Marty. If Marty Jr follows the pattern and has Marty III at 30, then he has him in -- he's 17 in 2015, according to the script -- 2038. Which means it's probably somewhere in the 2050s for him.
-MF: *joking* Think the Internet's finally caught on, or are they still using faxes?-
*snort* Who knows. I'd really like to know if Looney Labs came up with any "official" backstories for these characters, or if they just threw some names on some cards. I'm STILL wondering what's up with a Jules McFly.
Anyway, not much to report. Made it through Hatter's levels in American McGee's Alice. Watched some of the special features on Part I while I was on the treadmill -- I'm planning on getting the new DVDs later this week. Damn it, Universal, why must you suck away all my money?
-D: You know, you don't HAVE to get every version of the DVD that comes out.-
I know, but -- you know me and special features. I'd feel a bit more justified about it if we could afford a Blu-Ray player, though. Then at least I'd be getting a new format as well as new special features.
-VD: And possibly some additional features?-
Oh God, I hope not. It pisses me off enough that I was gypped on "Enchanted" and ESPECIALLY "Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland" on that count. *grumblemutter*
Well, anyway, enough of that. Now that the birthdays are over, I have a Halloween party to plan.
-Muses: *eye me*-
Whaaat?
-VM: Just know we're watching you. In case you try to pull something funny.-
*innocent*
